The cabin stay was great. Our hosts were there to help with anything we needed. Four families were there and were able to fit. We had a great weekend celebrating the birthday of one family member.
The mountain views and the rain fall were all a great experience. God is great. There you can see and You can feel it. We also ate some organic zucchini flower quesadillas😋😋
Thank you Jason and Melissa.
Great property off the road. No issues. Need to replace upstairs couches, Very worn out but we really enjoyed the place. Views are great. Communication with host was great. Host answered all my questions. The little water you have to drive through was awesome tothe kids.
A large group of us stayed here as a college reunion including our spouses and families. We loved the cabin and had a great time. Thanks for a great stay!
This was our second time staying here and it won't be our last. Our favorite thing is the fire pit down by the creek. The cabin is spacious and comfortable.
Creekside Cabin was a well furnished, comfortable, roomy place to stay. There was plenty of room for our group to spread out when needed, but there was also sufficient space for us to get together as well. The communication with the owner/manager was very efficient and there were no issues with the check-in/check-out process. I would recommend this to my friends and will stay here when we return to the Willis area.
We enjoyed the house, the property, and the nearby town of Floyd as part of a graduation celebration with family. It was a bit of a drive to and from Blacksburg, but the large house accommodated our party of 10 very well, and everyone had a great time. It is all as described in the pictures and reviews. Linens and towels are provided as described. We did have to make the beds that we were using and carry out our own trash to the sites along the roads, just to be prepared for that detail; however, 11 am check-out time accommodated the extra steps. Thanks to the hosts for making this home available!
House was in a very quiet neighborhood with a creek beside. Perfect place to sit outside and listen to it while enjoying the mountain air. Property manager was awesome. Very easy to communicate with.
Melissa and her husband were great to work with and very flexible. We had friends stay their the year before so we knew that house would be great! We only had a few small issues; one being that the coffee broke and they were able to deliver a new one the next day which was great for all of us coffee drinkers. Location is great if you want to be off the grid. It was only about 15 minutes to Chateau Morrisette Winery. Great outdoor space and plenty of room inside for everyone. Going thru the little stream on the property was a little scary but none of us had any issues even after a heavy rain….even the cars could get thru it without any problems. A few more wine glasses and bigger coffee mugs would be great! We would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it.
Very nice cabin in a rural setting. Lots of living space, comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The cabin is off the beaten path, providing lots of quiet. Very charming veranda along the creek; great for children or relaxing with friends. Good communication with owners. We will rent this again!
The cabin is more amazing than the pictures. The rustic details are through out the house and it is complimented with all the modern conveniences. From the deck sitting area you can hear the babbling stream below. It is a remote location and perfect for spending family time together (We had 10). The small town of Floyd is charming as well. The owner was extremely easy to communicate with and provided all the necessary information, as well as, a detailed list of activities in the area. We will definitely book this again.
Great very large modern cabin that was secluded and quiet.
Loved loved loved this place. There were 10 adults and there was plenty of room for visiting and conversing. 5 bedrooms and 13 sleeping beds counting 4 bunk beds.
The outside fire pit and covered picnic area was a super addition to our ability to have fun outdoors.
I would recommend the beautiful cabin to anyone looking for a quiet getaway and comfortable lodging.
Thanks to the owners for super communication and guidance before and during our trip.
Stayed April 30 thru May 4 2021

This property blew us away. Hands down the best cabin we've ever stayed in. I hope to make this our regular cabin rental! I can't say enough great things about this cabin!!
This was our first stay at Creekside Cabin. It is a beautifully built cabin with ample space and nice bedrooms. It is in the middle of nowhere, but that is the point of a getaway. Just a short drive to Floyd and Meadows of Dan for day trips. The zip line and buffalo mountain trail are great activities to explore. I booked this for the Hillsville Flea Market, but of course that was cancelled. Will likely book for next year's Labor Day.
