Sunset Serenity Relaxation & Convenience

My husband Donnie and I warmly welcome you to enjoy the beautiful sunset at this cozy, safe and relaxing country getaway attached guest home. Sit out on deck sipping coffee or just relax at the pool (towels provided ) Feel free to wander down to the woods at the picnic table and the fire pit. Grill out on our gas grill or feel free to cook in the fully equipped kitchen we are located just three miles from Dry Ridge. 10 minutes to the Ark Encounter. Visit the Creation Museum (40 min). Kings Island, Newport Aquarium or the Cincinnati Zoo fall within one hour we are available by phone or text at anytime.

Owners very accommodating and friendly. Clean and comfortable. Quite country setting. Easy access to interstate. Centeral access to Eastern Kentucky. Close to The Ark attraction. Our stay at Sunset Serenity was perfection! Martha and Donald are the quintessential hosts - we felt supported and looked after, but never felt we didn't have the privacy we wanted. The property was well cared for and provided a welcome escape for my kids to run and play after long days of sightseeing. Enjoying smores by the firepit as the sun sets is a must-do! You simply cannot stay stressed out here - I highly recommend you stop in for a stay!

Had a wonderful stay at Martha and Donnie’s guest house. Martha was more than accommodating and provided everything we needed. Lovely people and beautiful property. Especially enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and making Schmores and hotdogs.

Wonderful home and host
We just loved Martha and Donnie’s guest home. It is a tranquil place with beautiful views. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. They go above and beyond with special little touches that made for a wonderful trip. My husband forgot his phone charger, they had a box on the wall full of every kind you could need and common cords already plugged in by the beds. There was a box of beanie babies for children to take one and keep. Besides ceiling fans they had a really assume fan on the wall that was prefect. There was coffee, paper products like plates, utensils, towels, toiletries and smores for the fire put. They also had those large ice packs in the freezer for us to use so we didn’t need to buy ice when we went out for our cooler. One of the most unique features was vent covers, I get a little cold in AC but my husband likes it cold so these were a wonderful addition so i could keep the AC from freezing me when I took a bath but keep the rest of the house cool for him. Trust me you will not have a problem keeping cool, the AC works great. As for Martha and Donnie, you won’t find more sweet people. They go out of their way to make you comfortable and be social. If we wanted privacy they gave it. If you wanted to set and talk you will not find better conversation than sitting on their front porch with Donnie sipping coffee or for us it was beer and bourbon. When we go the Kentucky we will stay with them, it’s prefect for 2. But it would be great for a small family.
