Simple and Elegant 19th Century Williamstown Home

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room inside and outside for fun. Enjoy a spacious living room with fireplace and large dining room with seating for several guests. The house is set back from the road and there is plenty of outside space to gather, run around, and play.
This is a classic four-square style house with a long history. Although, it is a great place for all guests, it is more favorable for guests under 6 feet 2 inches tall due to low ceilings on the second floor.
All bedrooms and the single bathroom are on the second floor.

Moved to another location
We did not stay at this property, we were moved to another location, I think due to scheduling. The coordinator was very responsive and the other location was beautiful. We had a wonderful stay and would work with these folks again in the future.

Great location
This is a great location, secluded yet in town. However, the train runs close by, so if you're a light sleeper it might be a problem for you.

Nice place, but......
A spotlessly clean, charming nicely furnished place. The TV didn't work, the heat didn't work (it was REALLY cold) and there was no ice in the freezer for my wife who gets very testy if she doesn't get her cocktail immediately after a long drive. Fix those things and it would be 5 stars

Needs more lighting, better mattresses
The house is clean and comfortable. The kitchen had lots of tools including a decent Keurig coffee maker, a toaster oven, full stove/range, a normal sized fridge. Unfortunately we were given less than one roll of paper towels, and no kitchen towels. We had a similar situation with toilet paper. Lighting is stark, like the kitchen which has bare compact florescent bulbs, and most rooms had just one light. There was a large smart TV that worked well and an organ that you could play around with. The yard is nice with a fire pit, and picnic table. It's very private being at the end of a long driveway, and next to the river and rail road tracks both of which are out of site. You can hear the occasional freight trains which I enjoy. It's only a few minutes into Williamstown. To me, the bed/mattress is about the most important feature in a rental. If you don't get a good nights sleep, it messes with your vacation. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star overall rating is that the beds had wimpy mattresses. I had a sore back in the morning. Management was responsive. For some reason I didn't get the instructions on how to get into the house, but they answered the phone right away. Ditto for the wifi password.

Great home
My husband , daughter and husband and infant had a lovely stay here. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. One Bathroom but was not an issue for us. Bonus surprise were the window AC units in 2 bedrooms and it was mid 90's for our stay. Wifi/internet had issues but we weren't there for that. Would stay again.

Great house, hosts and location
Cute vintage home - close to Williamstown and the hosts made everything very easy. House was well stocked. I wish we had more time to enjoy all that it has to offer.
