Not all bad Overall nice 2 night stay for the price. Our room and bathroom were clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. EmPloyees do not stay at the front desk so you have to call to get someone to check in. This also was a little alarming as anyone could walk in off the street and have access to the hallways and rooms. Hallways and common areas a little unkept and dirty. Nothing too major. Hallways and common areas were very cold. Room was chilly upon entering, but the heat worked great and was warm quickly. The only thing that was a major disappointment for us was the indoor pool is closed in the winter because it is not heated. Would have been nice to know this ahead of time as the pool was the biggest reason we booked this hotel. I had 2 devastated children when we learned at check in that it was closed. The game room was also closed. There was no breakfast either morning we were there which was also kind of disappointing. I’m assuming it was due to the very low occupancy of the place at the time. I would probably wouldn’t stay here again only because of the pool situation. My kids always look forward to swimming when we go out of town so this made their stay a little more boring. The hotel is run down. The first room had a hole in the ceiling of the shower. The heater either worked full blast or not at all. We smelled smoke and there was loud music. Manager kept making excuses for everything. He put us in another room. That rooms heater fan didn’t work. The hot water didn’t work unless you let it run for a half an hour. When we left my husband couldn’t take a shower because it took to long to heat up. Received excuses for that but my husband works in hvac and plumbing industry and it doesn’t work that way. Went to checkout Ceiling tiles were down Went to check out and there was no one there. Filed a complaint with hotels.com they contacted The hotel and once again more excuses. The manager was suppose to call us and never received a return call. Other people in the lobby were also disappointed.
