Fabulous Yumey Sands
This property is perfectly located on the most beautiful yet uncrowded beach. It is nicely appointed and well-equipped. This area is somewhat remote so a car is helpful if one is staying for any length of time. Andy is a terrific host and his local team is very responsive and exceptionally helpful. All in all, a wonderful vacation. Definitely returning next year!

This house is all you can ask for and more! Beautiful decor, huge family gathering space with plenty of bedrooms for privacy, clean, well equipped - kitchen with anything you could ever think of at your fingertips, a lovely pool, and the most beautiful beach in the world right off the back deck… Andy gives you all the info you need before you get there, and Judy is available for anything you need while you’re there. The bar just down the beach is so cute and fun! Santana’s and Tropic Breeze are amazing for close local food. The people of Exuma could not be more lovely! We cannot wait to return… ♥️♥️♥️

Family Vacation 7/3-7/19-2023
This was our second visit to Exuma and Little Exuma did not disappoint. The villa was beautiful but many things were not working. The AC in the front 2 bedroom do not work. Although we reported this is was never fixed. Also, the water had a strong sulphur smell which went away after filter was turned on. But this was an on going issue through our stay. The roads leading to the Villa are extremely bumpy and dangerous so be aware before renting. This location is very far from restaurants and Georgetown so having a private chef and cooking at home is a must. The catered dinner we had with Chef Kriston from Tropic Breeze was amazing. It was the best meal we had on the island!!! We did use the chef recommended by the Villa and that was just ok. The beach was truly amazing and spectacular. The villa did not have any deck umbrellas which would have been nice. During the day it is too hot and sunny to sit outside. No outdoor fans were provided so the covered deck and the balcony upstairs were rarely utilized. Although description states that paddle boards are provided we found out we had to rent them. The kayaks and the beach toys for sand castle were a treat. Kitchen was well stocked and having a double washer and dryer was a bonus. Would recommend having more games/puzzles and movie collection. From the villa you can see the sunrise and sunset everyday. The Tropic of Cancer beach is definitely the most beautiful beach we have been to.

Perfection!!
Walking into the house was instant perfection. We had planned that our arrival day would be a bit of a wash by the time we got unpacked and settled, but we were wrong. Groceries were all put away and ready for us, cabinets and drawers were labeled for ease, and the rooms could not have been a more perfect set up. We were in the water within thirty minutes of arriving and didn’t leave the house much after that. It was exceptionally well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed and the most perfect setup for a week of relaxation and family time. The beach was exciting to snorkel each day and the kayaks gave the option for more exploration. The pool was the perfect wind down from the open water swimming. The house is gorgeous and still very comfortable.

Great stay in Little Exuma!!
We had an amazing week at Yumey Sands! The house is just as advertised and the view off the deck was absolutely breathtaking. As many have mentioned before, the kitchen is well stocked (even had spices, ketchup, S&P, etc already in the cupboard), the beds are very comfortable, and there was no shortage of kayaks to use for exploring. Brea's just down the beach is a great amenity as well! We had the perfect trip and would highly recommend Yumey Sands to others!

House had everything you could possibly want and was very clean! The house was beautiful and the beach was as pretty as any beach any of us had ever seen! Judy was very responsive to all of our needs and her daughter and her son came and cooked us a great meal one night! Went on a seven beaches tour with Captain Justin from Exuma Water Sports which was also wonderful! Ate at Santana's 3 days in a row and the food was great all 3 days! Ended our trip with a night at Blu on the Water and the food and service were excellent! Last year we stayed at 'that resort' north of the airport and there was no comparison, Yumy Sands was in a different league! Every amenity exceeded our expectations! When we return to Exuma we know where we will stay!

Fantastic Vacation
Our group of four couples spent a week at Yumey Sands Villa in March 2023. Everything about the villa was better than represented in the listing. The home was clean and stocked with every convenience we could possibly want. The kayaks, paddle board, and beach chairs were used almost every day.....except for the day we took an excursion with Robert's Island Adventures (highly recommend!). Some of our group kayaked out to the islands off shore to explore, while others relaxed on the beach or poolside. The road to the villa is quite rough....we made sure to get rental vehicles with plenty of ground clearance. As a result, the beach was NEVER crowded.....the most people we ever saw on the beach with us was 10 or so. Communication with Andy was great before the trip......and we didn't need to contact Judy (the manager) at all during our stay. Be sure to pack bug spray for the no-see-ums......they were out in full force! (typical for the Bahamas - not a house issue). The beach was perfect and the colors of the water can't be captured in words or pictures - would love to return to the Tropic of Cancer beach!

Beautiful Villa on a Beautiful Beach
We just returned from a week at this beautiful property. Everything was perfect. The Villa has everything you could possibly need inside and out. The pool area is great for the kids with amazing ocean views. We enjoyed many beach walks - it's about 2km of perfect white sand beach. Judy the house manager had groceries pre-stocked which was such a nice way to arrive and also arranged a chef for all our dinners - all the meals were fantastic and Chef Dana was amazing! - would highly recommend. Thanks Chef Dana and Judy! We look forward to returning to this property.

The house was amazing and the owners have clearly thought of everything, including the most comfy beds ever. We ordered a groceries from Judy and also arranged a catered dinner through her, which all worked out perfectly. As described, the house is on a very quiet part of the island with only a beach bar that can be walked to. Was perfect for most, but some were a little restless with that. The no-see-ums are bad (Bahamas thing, not a house issue) so use the baby oil when they are biting. The beach and water are incredible, and even those of us that have previously stayed out of oceans ended up swimming because it was so perfectly clear.

Most beautiful beach in the world!
We spent the most magical week at Yumey Sands with a group of 10 ranging from 6 to 76 years - everyone had such a wonderful vacation that we’re already planning when we can return! The house was very well appointed and has all the comforts of home. We did most of our meals at the villa and cooked ourselves and the kitchen had every utensil/gadget you could imagine. The house come with kayaks, beach umbrellas, boogie boards and sand toys for outdoor entertainment all day long. There is even a cupboard full of board games/books and video games for the kids in the evening. The beach is steps from the house and is the most beautiful clear turquoise water I have ever seen. There is even a little bar less than a five minute stroll down the beach so that you can get a fancy cocktail every afternoon - the best Bahama Mama on the island! The only drawback were the bugs (but not enough to deter us from returning!) The mosquitoes and no-seeums are relentless in the evening and no one in our group was spared. I highly recommend you wear baby oil (for the no-seeums) followed by bug spray (for the mosquitoes) or avoid going outdoors after dusk. I also recommend packing lots of snacks, especially if you have little ones, because food at the grocery store is quite expensive with limited selection. Overall this was an A+ vacation - can’t wait to return.

Our week at Yumey Sands was amazing!
Yumey Sands house was amazing and is located on the nicest, prettiest, and most lowkey beach on the island. We have stayed several times in the Exumas and this house by far exceeded our expectations. The house is well appointed, and the owners have thought of everything. The kitchen has everything you'll need, including different types of coffee makers, a ice maker, a water cooler with plenty of bottled water, and so much more. Lots of comfortable space throughout the house inside and out; beds/pillows/linens are extremely comfortable. Very comfortable patio/deck furniture and lots of it. Plenty of kayaks, paddle boards, and pool toys for use. Judy the house manager responded to texts right away. Two sets of washer/dryer were great for our party of 7. Highly recommend this house and we plan on returning soon.

Best destination for a family
We loved our stay at Yumey Sands. When you enter you are immediately greeted with the most gorgeous water. The rooms are all en-suites and impeccably designed. There were plenty of toys and games for the kids to keep entertained as well. The outdoor pool deck is stocked with beach chairs, snorkeling masks, life jackets youth-adult, and lots of kids toys. There is an entire basket of sunscreen and plenty of towels. The house is well maintained and the pictures really don't do it justice. The only thing to watch out for is the slippery pool deck with young children and older adults. When it is wet, it is super slippery. Our communication with Judy was ok. We did hear on other reviews that sometimes her team may drop the ball so we rented a car from Thompson's directly across the street at the airport and had zero issues. We did have Judy's team order some groceries for us and they were delivered for our arrival. However, there were several items that we reported that weren't received and we were still charged for. We never did hear back from her on them. Overall, the house is amazing and a 5-star on location, value, design and cleanliness. We would highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning property with all the amenities you need for a beach vacation!
We loved staying at this property! Besides the food, we had everything we needed from utensils and cooking supplies, to beach towels/toys, even a basket of bug spray and sunscreen! It is a little bit of a drive from Georgetown but we rented a couple of Jeeps and really enjoyed the scenic and peaceful drive to the house! We are already planning our trip back!

The best vacation house ever!
We were two active families from Europe, and everyone said this was the best vacation location ever. The house and location exceeded our expectations in every way. The house has all the amenities you'd want (even twin washers and dryers) and plenty of space for everyone. Reality exceeded the pictures. We loved having a pool along with the pristine beach in the backyard. We kayaked and snorkeled out to the bay islands where we saw nurse sharks, sting rays, and tropical fish. There is so much to enjoy in, and around the house; you can explore for days. I can't recommend this property enough. It was pure paradise! We'll be back.

This was our second visit to Yumey Sands Villa and once again it was nothing short of spectacular. This property has it all. The villa itself has a fully stocked kitchen, bbq and all the beach necessities, including kayaks, chairs, towels, umbrellas, pool floats and an ice chest to take down to the beach. Each bedroom as en suite bathrooms and the beds and linens are wonderful. It is always hard to leave such a beautiful, restful vacation!

A beach lover's dream come true!
Our family of eight chose this place because of the wonderful Villa and gorgeous beach. The photos of Yumey Sands Villa are accurate, but even more amazing in person. Very spacious, tastefully decorated and appointed. The beach was absolutely gorgeous: powdery sand with no rocks/ shells to damage your feet and the most beautiful clear turquoise water. Most days the beach was totally secluded. Some days maybe a dozen or so people might be seen further south from the house. I concur with all the other reviews regarding the extensive amenities of the Villa, so will not repeat. Be sure to read all reviews. Rest assured that everything you need will be there: A drip coffee maker, a bean grinder and a Keurig. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows, luxurious linens and fluffy towels. We enjoyed two nights cooking for ourselves on the gas grill, one night at Santana's after our all day excursion with Robert's Island Adventures. One evening Chef Shariqua catered an excellent meal for us and we highly recommend her. On our last night we had a fabulous dinner at Blu on the Water ( reservations required). There, we were greeted by a professional photographer, who captured a few moments and emailed the photos the next day. We enjoyed steel drum music during the great meal and the whole crowd sang along to Margaritaville. Some even line danced through the tables also. Judy, the house manager, shopped for us for groceries and alcohol prior to arrival, which was extremely helpful since we arrived late on Sunday afternoon. We rented 2 vehicles from Judy and were promptly greeted at the airport upon arrival and escorted to the house. She also promptly replied when I texted her requesting some extra paper towels, Kleenex and detergent pods. Andy, the owner, always responded very promptly to any questions I posed prior to arrival. Once you are booked, Andy will provide you with extensive, detailed information on dining, activities etc...Yumey Sands is perfect for a family gathering or four couples. It can connect to Suma Sands next door via a gate off the deck, if a larger group wanted to gather together. If a ladies only group wanted to vacation here, I believe they could feel perfectly safe and secure. Thanks Judy for all of your assistance. Thanks Andy for a fantastic, magical vacation spot where everything came together like clock work!

Wonderful property! Clean, beautiful, has everything you need (beach towels, hair dryer, beach chairs, snorkel gear and so much more). It’s about a 45 minute drive from the airport. Make sure you stop at the grocery store before you head to the house. Khriston from Tropic Breeze restaurant catered a meal for us and it was phenomenal! We loved it so much that we’ve booked it again for next summer!

Me and my family had a wonderful time in Exuma and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yumey Sands! The location is much more private than other parts of the beaches and the beach and view is pristine! Judy and her family were fantastic and easy to work with and really help relieve the stress and anxiety of traveling. The home was equipped with much more than we expected. There wasn’t much we needed besides some groceries and our swimsuits. My kids all loved the kayaks and there was plenty of pool gear, snorkeling gear, and some indoor board games to keep them busy! Overall I’d def Rex commend this home and we personally can’t wait to go back!

Our return trip was just as amazing as our first!
Our group of 8 just returned from our second visit to Yumey Sands Villa, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! It truly is a special place. The amenities, the furnishings, the bedding, the towels... all top notch! And you really have to see the view to believe it. We went out to lunch a couple of times, including the BBQ at Chat n Chill, but other than that we were perfectly happy to stay home, and have Sandy make us beach drinks at her bar, which is a dangerously short walk up the beach! Andy is an amazing host, and was super helpful when we had to make a few adjustments to our travel plans. We had a few days with no wind, and while the water was perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding, the bugs came out with a vengeance! But no worries, there is plenty of bug spray at the house! Overall another fantastic visit, and we can't wait to come back!

Vacation Perfection
Yumey Sands was absolute perfection in every way. The house is well appointed, spacious, and comfortable. While the pictures are beautiful, they don't begin to capture the view and tranquil feel of the property. As soon as you walk in the door, you will see shades of blue from every window and it will be hard to ever leave. This house was so well stocked and they really thought of everything. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, plus plastic wine glasses and cups for your poolside days. We placed a grocery order with Judy ahead of time, which I would highly recommend. There is a small beach bar just steps down the beach with great cocktails, hamburgers, and hot dogs but otherwise we didn't leave the property for our first several days. The outside seating was situated in the shade and was the central gathering place for morning coffee and our afternoon social time - the view is spectacular. The location is on Little Exuma, so about 30 minutes from the main town or any grocery stores. In addition to the beach bar, there are two great restaurants about a 5 minute drive away that were both delicious. We enjoyed the quiet beach and feeling removed, but if you want to do an excursion or take a water taxi to Stocking Island for the day, getting around the island is very easy. The property owner was kind and quick to respond to any questions. We had such a memorable time that we decided to book again next year!

Yumey Sands is a very comfortable, well appointed, very relaxing property. Definitely a “dream home away from home”. It had everything we needed, and more! We hated leaving, but absolutely plan on coming back! As always, the property manager; Judy and her team made sure all our needs (groceries, alcohol, rental car, jet-ski rental) were taken care of. Loved the mid-week “refresh” of the villa! Being directly on Tropic of Cancer Beach never disappoints either!

Yumey Sands was the perfect beach house to celebrate a 50th birthday with friends. Andy was very responsive and helpful answering questions prior to our trip. Judy made us feel immediately comfortable by meeting us at the airport, having vehicles ready, a pantry full of groceries and dinner arranged for us on the first night! The house is beautifully decorated, the rooms are very comfortable and the view is hard to describe. No surprise, Tropic of Cancer beach was once ranked Top 10 in the world! If you're looking for a memorable vacation, Yumey Sands is it.

Exceeded All Expectations!!
We just got back today from a week long stay in Exuma at this house! The house is better in person then in the pictures! The water is breathtaking and the house is extraordinary! The finishes are top notch and the owners have though of everything! There is pretty much anything you can think of there for your use! Bluetooth speakers, beach chairs/umbrellas, snorkels, towels, multiple coffee makers, every kitchen item you could every use, bottled water, spices, towels etc. etc. - They have everything! The pool & Hot tub are perfect after a long day at the beach. Judy the concierge was great to work with - We rented our van from her for the week and she met us at the airport to help us with our luggage and get us settled into the house. Exuma was amazing, the people were so nice and the water is unlike anything I've ever seen. In just a few short days you learn where everything is and its super easy to get around (The roads could use some work) but otherwise very easy. I highly recommend this house and Exuma and we will be back!!

Perfection on the Tropic of Cancer
Wow, all I can say is that we were speechless when we opened the doors to Yumey Sands! We were stunned at the amazing views from this beautiful home. The interior is so tastefully decorated, and it is hard to find this type of attention to detail in a rental home. There was not one thing that we needed while there because they've thought of everything and have gone as far as labeling everything inside the cabinets to make navigating the lovely kitchen even easier. Everyone agreed that the beds were very comfortable and the sheets were high quality...all things that make a difference when on vacation. There were so many thoughtful touches, such as nice hand soaps and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in all showers. The furniture around the pool was so high quality and comfortable...we could have stayed out there 24/7. Andy, we can't thank you enough for your hospitality & for sharing your home on the most beautiful beach we've ever seen. We hope to be able to come back again soon! It was a dream come true for us!

Beautiful Property
Inattentive resident manager. Did not meet us at the airport as promised nor did we ever hear from her during our whole visit. The property was gorgeous, kitchen well equipped and furniture was comfortable and well appointed. Will return but do our own grocery and liquor shopping. The chefs from Driftwood were the BEST as was their in restaurant meals. Overall, Loved it!!!

This hasn’t been the typical experience for our guests so we will certainly be looking into what happened to rectify and make improvements. I was glad to hear that one of our managers team-members did have contact with you and met you at the house when you arrived. I understand she had provided grocery service and made a meal for your group as well which I hope went well. If you are looking for Heaven on earth this is about as close as you can get. The house is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need! The view and pool area is just as stunning. We will for sure be renting this property again!

Perfect Beach House
We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Yumey Sands! This was our 5th visit to Exuma and was the nicest villa so far. Andy has gone above and beyond to provide everything you could possibly want. The layout and design was top notch and the views are beyond compare. Judy was also a pleasure to deal with and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We are already planning our next visit!

Amazing house with a perfect view
Not sure where to start on this one. First of all, the house is even better than described! It has absolutely everything you need. We loved going out (Santana’s was amazing, Tropic Breeze, Blu on the Water, Turtle Pond Bar and Grill - great staff - and Rusty Anchor on the way there). 30 minutes from GeorgeTown but not a big deal to get there and back. Great pool (so warm) and hot tub. Loved every minute and we will be back. Thank you Judy for helping make our trip so great!

Perfect Getaway
We can't say enough wonderful things about this house and our experience with Andy. From the moment we showed interest in booking this property, Andy was extremely helpful and responsive. His response rate was impressive and faster than any other homeowner I have booked with. He sent pre-arrival information that helped us plan our entire trip and everything was exactly as it was described. The only surprise we had was how beautiful the house and the surroundings were. House: The house and the furnishings were stunning. The layout of the house allows for an open floor plan with beautiful ocean views from the kitchen, dining, living room, and master bedroom. The beds have very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Andy and his family have put a lot of effort in ensuring that guests are comfortable down to the fluffy towels. We traveled with two little kids who enjoyed a toy chest, kids books, and board games. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed down to a lime juicer. There was a ninja blender, french press, all the pots and pans needed for cooking and baking. There were toiletries, dishwashing detergent, and laundry detergent. Outdoor area: The house has a HEATED pool and a hot tub which were priceless especially the first week when the temperatures dropped into the 60s. We were able to use the pool everyday. There were multiple pool toys, floats, beach chairs, snorkel gear, beach umbrellas etc. The beach was steps away from the house - so close that we could see our kids playing on the beach from the house. They also had kayaks and paddle boards in great condition and we took out several times throughout our stay. Location: The house is on Tropic of Cancer Beach which (after exploring several other beaches during our stay) is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Exumas. It is about a 45 minute drive from the airport and about 30 minutes to Georgetown (groceries). There is a bumpy road off of the main road which at first was difficult but we got used to it pretty quickly. The beach is pristine and we rarely saw other people on it throughout our stay. Judy, the house manager, and her team were quick to respond and helpful throughout our stay. We can't wait to go back!

Home is spectacular
This property is truly outstanding from the location, the amenities, the furnishings. Everything was first class and we would stay here again and again. Andy is wonderful to work with and communicated with us every step of the way and could not have been more helpful. Judy was amazing...we received our negative COVID results at the last minute and let her know we were on our way and she had the house stocked with our groceries on a Sunday when all stores are closed. She pulled off the impossible. The location of the home is ideal for a family or a large group right on the beach with kayaks, paddle boards etc. The home is BEAUTIFULLY furnished and professionally decorated with everything you would ever need. If you are looking for a home away from home this is it!

Amazing house on an incredible beach
This house is beautiful and well stocked with kayaks, snorkle gear, life vests, games and the kitchen gear was also plentiful with the latest gadgets. The decor is perfect too...nice comfy yet beautiful furnishings. fluffy towels, nice bedding. We loved the ability to boogie board, kayak then shower off in the outdoor shower and jump in the pool. Weather was amazing, too. No issues with bugs and we cooked our own meals and stayed at the property due to Covid but really enjoyed it! Highly recomended!

July Exumas 2020 trip
This property is nothing short of incredible. The house is stunning and the location on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The house was clean, well decorated, and had very upscale amenities!
