"A beautiful property nestled among hills and vineyards of the Chehalem Mountains. It has the best stocked kitchen I've ever had in a rental. The patio is lovely for meals, relaxing around a fire, and enjoying the sunset. Bird watching was outstanding. Two small hawks live in the tree right outside the house and there is a bald eagle that hung out across the street. The hot tub takes about 4 hours to heat up to 100 degrees, so plan accordingly. Conveniently located near some of the best wineries in the area- there is even one next door, but you have to book in advance to taste at the property (Flanuer Winery). We visited their tasting room in nearby Carlton, which is one of the coolest tasting rooms I've ever visited- it's in a refurbished grain elevator."
