Terrific Choice
Wonderful place with many benefits. Pete is an easy-going, kind owner.
Lots of space and having the bedrooms on the top floor gives a real sense of “difference” in the main-living area, which is spacious and diverse. The master bedroom is huge and offers a nice sitting area. The other bedrooms are a little tight, but perfectly fine for their purpose. Having 2 full & one half-bath is a luxury. The small room with the washer/dryer has nice storage space and Pete provides a lot of detergent options.
Second story deck is wonderful. It gets the morning sun, but by early afternoon it is cool and shaded. A breeze seems to always be present.
The gas grill was a wonderful asset. I appreciate how Pete stores it inside, keeping it in much better shape. Really made meals easy.
It is walking distance to many locales (a dozen restaurants; two liquor stores; two blocks to mini-golf and a quick jaunt to the convention center and beach).
Wifi worked well - even on the deck. TV access was crazy plentiful - in every BR, the kitchen and living room. Ceiling fans allow a breeze on those hotter days.
I cannot say enough about Pete. In April, I asked to alter my arrival (I stayed for multiple weeks). No problem. During my stay, I had trouble figuring out the main TV. Pete replied to my texts quickly. When a new gas meter was put in, I had to be sure I could let “the guy” into the home. On both issues, Pete and I worked seamlessly together.
