While this motel is a throwback to generations past in Wildwood, the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the owner who works the front desk was so pleasant. Short walk to the beach and jitney as well. I would absolutely stay here again.

Your typical wildwood nostalgic motel with a big flat screen tv. The owner is very nice and the room, and property as a whole, was VERY clean. Been coming to ww my whole life and I was impressed. The pool is great with plenty of outside seating….chairs, loungers, tables and umbrellas.

We would definitely recommend the Sea Chest Motel. John and his wife were very accommodating and the hotel continues to captured the Wildwood Crest Charm. The property was very family friendly with free use of the pool, grills, picnic are. The location was perfect in the Crest with bike rentals across the street and the beach only a short walk from the hotel. We will absolutely stay there again in the future.

Like a new old motel! Cool retro vibe.

This motel perfectly fits the vibe and character of Wildwood. John is a wonderful host. Super clean and comfortable property. Exceptionally well maintained. Location is awesome. Had a really nice run along the pedestrian/bicycle path, and enjoyed a beautiful walk along the beach.

Last minute booking to freshen up and take a quick rest before heading back home. Room air freshener was clean smell, room was clean and had 2 queen and sofa bed. Clean shower and plenty of towels provided. Parking was wash and 6 minute drive to Morey’s Pier. Very nice clean patios and patio furniture. Excellent! Thank you.

We had a good mid-week stay at Sea Chest. It is a very short walk to the beach, which is huge and beautiful. The outside of the motel, and the pool area, are updated and very nice, and have grills for the guests to use. The biggest drawback is that our room looked old and tired. It was comfortable enough, and sported a large apartment sized fridge which was great. But the bathrooms are original 1950s bathrooms with nothing updated, including no electrical outlets, and all of the the furniture was old and worn. But the price was extremely reasonable, the staff was very nice , and we felt that the good out the bad, especially given the price.

The couple who own The Sea Chest were lovely . The hotel itself is dated and in need of some updating. It is not handicapped accessible and has limited amenities. There is a pool, gas grills, patio area and ping pong table. Other guests did not respect “quiet times” and children were allowed to run wild.

Very cute family friendly place

Parking on site, and less than 2 blocks from the Jitney pickup. Really nice checkin- the man who runs is very nice and friendly and while there’s no housekeeping after they leave for the day he was willing to help with anything we needed. Pool was awesome for us and the kids- they loved the slide. Plenty of spots to lay out. Grills, ping pong table outside. Really a nice family atmosphere. Cute room - fit the 4 of us without a problem. The only negative was there’s no shampoo, conditioner or body wash and they don’t sell any there so bring your own. Other than that it was a great time and we will definitely be back.
