"We loved our stay at Mount Errigal Hotel. The hotel was clean, our room was spacious, and all of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was plenty of parking available, and the electric vehicle charging stations worked perfectly, which was a great bonus. The travel cot was in good condition, the mattress and sheets on it were lovely and clean.
My only criticism relates to the food options for guests with food allergies. The receptionist was very helpful and provided us with an allergen menu but there were limited safe foods. As a result, we weren’t able to eat in the hotel restaurant during our stay. Wasn't a huge deal as we were able to travel to the local Tesco and bought GF cereals and milk, then ate in Letterkenny for dinner.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and plan to return."
"Gorgeous apartment, spacious and airy. Comfortable & calm place. Bit too far from Ramelton to walk in, though the hosts did provide telephone numbers for local cab firms. The town itself was disappointing (lots of dog mess & limited selection of bars/restaurants), though this is not anything the hosts can control."
"Clean, quiet and comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was great.
Pool/hot tub looked nice enough but was a little underwhelming. Hot tub was a bit small and crowded and the requirement for a swim cap to use the pool was unexpected. Swim caps were available for purchase but if they're required I rhink that they should be complimentary.
Overall I would say that it was excellent!"
Secluded Glenbeg Tower in stunning private estate.
10/10 Excellent
"I absolutely love this place. I spent 3 month here with my cats and felt so happy to be there. The tower itself if beautiful and cosy and is a wonderful place to spend time, but the biggest highlight has to be the incredible nature of the whole Glenalla Estate. Between woodland and stunning gardens it is a natural paradise! Also the Franklin family are wonderful and very helpful hosts."
