Pros: I liked the style of it-- very attractive. The beds were comfortable, and even the many little pillows made it easier to find a comfortable sleep position. Desk staff were friendly and helpful, and even though something went wrong with the reservations I had done online, the manager worked with us and was able to get us rooms close together at the price stated online (important because I had students with me that I needed to supervise). Even the single rooms had two beds, which made it nice to have a choice on where to sleep. Cons: Lights from the parking lot shone directly in room windows, so sleeping with the curtains open for the beautiful view meant finding a location where the light was blocked. The area where the hotel is at is right in the middle of the highest homeless/drug addict/crime areas in Wichita, but little effort was made for security. There were two tufts of hair in my bed, one under one of my pillows and one between the sheets, probably animal. One of our rooms smelled like it had been lit on fire at some point. People were arguing and fighting in the parking lot until 4 a.m., and people down the hall were playing music at high volume and smoking pot in their "no smoking" room-- the smell filled the whole floor (after we complained and suggested that the front desk charge that room for smoking the music stopped and it seemed the group checked out, but by then it smelled like a skunk had been torched in the hallway). I won't stay there again
