The beach is also just a two-minute stroll away, where you can enjoy leisurely walks along the promenade stretching to Seasalter in one direction and Herne Bay in the other. Nearby tennis courts are easily accessible, or you can hire a bicycle from Kent Cycles to explore the scenic woodlands along the Crab and Winkle Way.
You have access to all areas in the property apart from the cupboard under the stairs.
Built in 1887, the year of Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee and the inspiration for its name, this cottage retains much of its historic charm and original features from its time as a mariner's home over a century ago.
The ground floor features a comfortable and stylish lounge, ideal for cosying up with a book on a chilly winter evening or enjoying TV (with Sky) and a film from the provided selection of DVDs. The fully equipped kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need for your stay, including a double oven, microwave, and washing machine.
