The stylish interior perfectly complements the period features of the cottage with the addition of contemporary artwork, soft hues of green and blue, and modern furniture, all creating a charming seaside holiday home. This lovely former fisherman’s cottage sleeps four guests. On the ground floor is a cosy sitting room, an open plan kitchen / dining room with wood burner. The bedrooms are on the first and second floor. On the first floor is a second seating area with comfy daybed and a handy desk and chair for working from 'home'. Outside, there is a pretty enclosed seaside garden, the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a busy day at the beach. Whitstable is a vibrant town famous for its working fishing harbour and of course the oysters. It is also a haven for artists – painters, potters, glass artists and many more, all exhibiting in art galleries, open air markets and craft fairs. Live music is abundant in the many friendly pubs and cafes, and the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. Luckily we could park on the street and we didn't use the car untill it was time to go. A lovely bed, bath shower, kitchen and garden and really next to the center. It was spot on. The only thing we missed was a hoover or broom. A couple of things for feedback though to improve it for others would be: 1\. Put black-out blind or curtains in the front bedroom2\. Tidy up the garden 3\.
