"The staff were very friendly. There was a good variety of breakfast item, everything was fresh. A nice, but very small bar in the lobby area. Excellent location. The amenities were a bit lacking with only hand pump items for shower gel and shampoo, no conditioner. There was a pum for body lotion and hand wash. We were in room 101 which is directly behind the kitchen. Kitchen staff were working ealry and we could hear furniture moving and cabinets closing. Not the room to have if you want to sleep in. All in all, a nice place."

"The listing provided amenities that we paid for that we only found out did not work, once we were on our way. We packed accordingly for 8 people, thinking we had a washer and dryer as the listing stayed, as we were en route to the property, we were told the washer was broken. When I questioned it, I was met with a sarcastic reply that most people only use it for towels anyway. Not us. When we arrived the backyard was also littered with cigarette butts and white claw cans. Part of going on a trip to the Forrest is also having fires and s'mores. I was advised by the host that no outdoor bonfires were allowed (this is not in the listing), however upon arrival there was a fire pit in the backyard with some slightly burned wood. When the host advised us that there were no bonfires allowed, she mentioned how great the indoor gas fireplace was... Well guess what, that didn't work either. The first night I tried to grill my family some chicken and started the grill, 10 minutes later now at 350 degrees, the grill was smoking furiously. Opened it up and all of the greece and gunk at the bottom was on fire, there was loads of it and the grill had not been cleaned for a some time. So now we didn't have a grill to use.The air filters and ducts hadn't been cleaned in probably years, this caused my kids to have pretty bad allergies. We left this place far cleaner than how we came, cleaning up after previous guests and it was not a great experience overall. "

"We were looking for a place to stay overnight on the way back to Denver. This fit the bill perfectly with a clean, comfortable, and roomy cabin. We each had our own room, and the staff on site (Ka Trina) recommended restaurants. Parking is easy, and there are places to walk. We didn't get to use the amenities, but saw a pickleball court, playground, and signs for other activities. "
