"It was a short getaway from London and we were looking for a Hotel that is close to Peak District. The hotel truly met our expectations. Its a very nice property and so close to Peak district. There are a few restaurants around the Hotel + the amenities in the Hotel were nice. We enjoyed swimming, sauna, hot/cold room, game of paddle, walk around the park etc. Would definitely recommend this to others"

"My stay at Abode was relaxing as always. All the staff are always polite, helpful and happy to see you. The hotel provides all you need for a short stay and has an amazing location right by the racecourse. The only slight downside is that the hotel is now starting to show signs of understandable wear and tear which can detract from the experience. The beds are very comfy and rooms are always clean."

"Very clean hotel, breakfast was very good. It was a very busy service, so the hot food was always fresh, the staff were friendly, cheerful and efficient, despite being clearly very busy. We checked in late at night and the woman on the desk was very cheerful and helpful. Another member of staff helped me to book a taxi back to the airport train station. The only thing about this hotel, is that it is not the Holiday Inn at the airport - it is a taxi ride away or a half hour walk, if you can cope for that far with kids and luggage. We took a taxi from the other Holiday Inn to this one. That was also cheaper, as there is a surcharge for getting a taxi pick up at the airport - so walk somewhere else to get the taxi and book it yourself!"
