Discover the ultimate Montana living experience at Quarry A40, a luxury development between downtown Whitefish and Big Mountain Resort—only 10 minutes away! This newly constructed 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home sleeps 8 in more than 1,000 square feet of pet-friendly living space. Enjoy uninterrupted tranquility as there are no shared walls, and discover an array of amenities at the nearby community clubhouse, including a gym, hot tub, seasonal community pool, and more.
Quarry A40 has a nice market and taphouse across the street, making it easy to walk for a quick bite, but the covered parking spot ensures an easy drive to Glacier National Park (1 hour).
With prior approval, we are happy to welcome up to 2 dogs for an additional non-refundable pet fee of 200 USD per dog, plus a 100 USD cleaning fee, plus applicable taxes. Pets must be well-trained and crated at all times when the owner isn’t present. You must notify the host if you are bringing a pet so that the proper fees can be collected.
Glacier Park International Airport is only about 20 minutes from Whitefish, Montana so getting here is easy!

We enjoyed our stay and wish we had booked a few more days! Check in was a breeze and the amenities were wonderful. We enjoyed the extra touches like the bag of local coffee and little kitchen and shower packs.
Our family of four stayed here and it was perfect for what we needed it for. We loved the hot tub ( wished the pool was open) but it’s in between seasons. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
It was a wonderful stay overall. Positives: comfortable beddings, modern appliances, convenient location. Negatives: barn doors, no curtain at upper windows.

Could use a coat tree or coat hooks at the front door A door on the upstairs bedroom More towel hooks in bathrooms. Maybe one chair to sit on. The amenities were very good with the pool, hot tub clubhouse. All the kitchen wears were very new nice Beds were comfortable.

The condo was clean and basically brand new. We loved having the pool right across the street. The community center was nice but the foosball table was broken and there was not sand for the shuffle board table. Big deal for an 8 year old looking for fun.
There is a little grocery store across the street to walk to and Jaliscos is within walking distance and it has great margs. (Try the cilantro marg :)
My favorite place to walk to was Crema the tiny coffee place right outside the premises. Cant go wrong.
Overall great place to stay. The couch has a pull out bed that is very comfy. I highly recommend this place!
Nice place with high end finishes. Best attribute is the location to Whitefish.
A couple notes for families - we felt privacy was lacking a bit with the open concept upstairs. The master bedroom was missing a dresser or something to put your clothes in. The master closet is large enough to add some shelving to alleviate this. The master bath is missing a shower door or curtain (or just something). I get that it would mess with the beautiful aesthetic, but from a functional standpoint it can make for a colder shower experience then you may prefer.
It is right across from the community pool - can be an issue if people are staying out late and are loud.
I don't think this is a place I'd stay with my family in the winter to ski. Lack of storage for gear would definitely be an issue. If it were a couple traveling then it's probably fine.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a very updated/neat setting. The sauna was awesome after all of the hiking we did in glacier national park. The little game room gave some us some easy entertainment at night with the shuffle board and foosball table. The drive to the west glacier entrance was approximately 40 minutes and the drive to the St. Mary’s entrance was roughly 2 1/2 hours. They had everything we needed there for our stay such as; towels, kitchen utensils, toiletries, coffee for the coffee pot.
For the Cons:
The policy on cancellation or moving dates around is ridiculous even with the purchase of the insurance I wasn’t able to move my dates due to a job change with work so I had to burn extra PTO just to make the accommodation. All I needed to do was flip some days around from the end to the beginning. The days were even showing they were available to do so on the calendar. We also had an issue with the electronic door lock not operating properly on 2 different occasions. The first occasion we left for the entire day to hike and when we got back the door was unlocked even though we heard the door lock before we left that morning. The 2nd occasion was on the day we checked out we were heading to get breakfast & I double checked the door before we left and it was open even after hearing the lock operating. Lastly, we noticed ants and some beatles in the kitchen under the sink & oven. I wouldn’t let those negatives outweigh the positives.
Good location for access to the mountain, the beach, local path/trail system, … Accommodation was clean & well equipped (laundry a plus). Club house and hot tub very nice.
Really nothing bad to say about the Quarry. This is my second stay there, I enjoyed it so much I bought a place in the complex. A stop on the snow bus route, steps from Jalisco Cantina and bonsai brewing, a small market across the street with high end wines and dispensary, as well as a great coffee shop on the premises. All with downtown a 10 minute walk away, and Whitefish mountain a 5-10 minute drive.
This unit exceeded our expectations! It was very clean, bright, and perfectly located close to the pool and fitness center. The Quarry is centrally located between downtown Whitefish and Big Mountain. It is also an easy drive to West Glacier. We will recommend this unit and the Quarry to our friends. Thank you!
This was perfect for our long weekend getaway to enjoy some summer activities with our 3 kids! With 3 nights and 2 full days I wasn’t sure how much we’d be able to explore, while having relax time too. First day we spent half the day at the mountain enjoying the summer activities they have. Second day we spent half the day at the city beach kayaking and paddle boarding. The house was central to both of those activities. Both days we made our way back to the pool (right in front of the house) for a few hours before heading out for dinner. It was really a perfect place to come back to after a few hours of exploring each day.
The house is modern and clean, and the kitchen is well stocked for any cooking needs. Comfy bed and pillows, we all slept great after the busy days. We loved it!
