The home has a well designed layout perfect for family gatherings and private spaces for relaxing. The chef’s kitchen was very well equipped with all your cooking needs. The new hot tub is large and powerful. Snow was cleared from the drive daily, the Elk Highland neighborhood is very close to Whitefish. There is a ski trail to the Village, but the trail was not yet open due low snow conditions. Driving and parking at Whitefish Village or Base Lodge was convenient. I do recommend an All Wheel Drive vehicle, the roads are cleared, but still icy. The town of Whitefish is an easy 20 minute drive. We preordered our groceries from Safeway and picked up on the way to the house from the airport. A perfect home for a great ski vacation. ##### Steve R. The place was very well equipped for a vacation rental. One comment would be to have a map and directions to ski in ski out.
