We loved our stay in our own little cabin. It had everything you need to relax in the comfort of your own cabin. Cabin was super clean and very well maintained. Can't wait to return for another week next year.

Such a nice surprise! wonderful breakfasts, friendly staff, comfortable room with view, and very accommodating to our needs. Loved the whole area but was such a nice place to stay for several days. Dining area set up nice to meet other residents.

My train arrived early morning. I dropped my luggage and left for sightseeing throughout the day (ensure you called first after you placed the booking). When I arrived, concierge was still sleeping on the living room or cafe floor, but that's not a problem for me. When I checked-out, also in early morning, concierge was also still sleeping, but bread and tea was ready for the guests' breakfast. Location is within 10-15 minutes walking distance to Amtrak station. It may sound like a joke, traveling to the wild west without a car, but yes, I didn't rent a car and arrived/departed by train. So the hostel location is important for me. Didn't really like the room floor plan. Had to enter the big room (priority for the male guests, I think) to enter the small room (priority for the female guests?). Not enough electricity points to share among the 4 roommates; we live in gadget era these days. Rooms are in the 2nd floor, no elevator but not a big issue for me. Showers/toilet are in the 1st floor, shared between male/female guests. I do like the idea of this kind of small business. This is the only budget hostel in the small city. If you're looking for a luxurious and spacious space, may want to stay somewhere else.

The Kalispell Grand was delightful from check-in to check-out. The staff were exceptionally friendly and hospitable. The hotel itself is "antique" but the rooms are updated and modern-feeling. The afternoon cookies were the best we've ever eaten and the complimentary breakfast was very generous - it even had quiche! We will definitely stay there whenever we are back in Kalispell!

Great hotel, new rooms, close to the park entrance

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff is outstanding and the rooms are generously sized and pleasingly decorated. The only negative was in the dining area. The hotel was quite full and it seemed they were understaffed. One evening we went for dessert and after one hour waiting left without receiving our dessert.

The rooms are super nice. But, the best part of this hotel is the outgoing, friendly staff. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy.

Great vacation. North Forty is comfortable, easy to find. Near grocery store, gas, restaurants etc. A bit of a drive to the entrance to Glacier, but a very pretty drive.
