We arrived to a super clean, homey cabin with a welcome note. We felt at home our entire stay. The cabin sits next to the owner's house, which backs up to a beautiful small lake. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own food - cookware, utensils, plates, and cups. The bedroom upstairs does have angled cielings - we had no trouble with this, and could move around comfortably upstairs. It's a 10 minute drive (mostly the private road to the highway) from downtown Whitefish and about 40 minutes away from the West Glacier entrance. The drive to glacier is easy and beautiful.
