Simple and Quiet
We arrived at the property to find the owner doing some work around the yard. Shaun was pleasant and informative about the area. We took his advice regarding the local scene and enjoyed our time there very much!

Snowboarding at Showdown
It's a beautiful place in the mountains set at the top of a steep driveway overlooking a tree-filled valley and an excellent fishing pond. The Reichenbachs were so wonderful in their communication, hospitality, and kindness! We stayed one night and had a fantastic time building puzzles and playing games before heading to Showdown in the morning. Next time we'll have to explore the trails and fishing.

Great location for snowmobile and skiing. Cozy accommodations that is close to White Sulphur Springs. Owners were very responsive to communications.

The most amazing views!
We just needed a quick one night stay while our friends were in town skiing. The rooms and beds were comfortable and the amenities provided were perfect. The only downside was we were not able to use the wood burning stove, but it didn’t hamper our stay or experience. Would definitely stay here again in the summer to take advantage of the area and hiking.

Wonderful getaway!
We had a great little ski weekend getaway. The property accommodated our needs perfectly and the hosts were great communicators and incredibly responsive. We spent most of our time at showdown and one evening in WSS for dinner. Location was ideal. We definitely plan to come back again. Thank you, Shaun!!

Tucked away cabin with great views
Our little family had a wonderful stay! Location was great - 10 or so minutes from WSS, 20 ish minutes to Showdown. This property had everything we needed. Shaun was a wonderful communicator and very welcoming. We will be back!

We loved the property. Such an amazing view and very private. We went skiing at Showdown and had multiple dinners in White Sulpher so the cabin was a perfect spot. The host was also very nice. Would definitely go back!

What a view
This is a definite do again. Loved the cabin as it had just about everything we could want. Couldn’t use the deck like we wanted to because of the smoke from the wild fires in the area. We will next time..

Great Stay!
We had a great weekend in White Sulphur Springs! The house was great and had plenty of space for 4 adults. We enjoyed the great deck and the location to the reservoir. The drive into town wasn’t bad either. Would definitely stay there again!

Short visit to Lewis and Clark national forest
My wife and I had a great time. The location was perfect for exploring and enjoying the area. The deck is amazing. Shaun was helpful and responsive. We had no problem accessing the property with our small car.

What a view!
The view from the deck on this property is awesome and the pictures don't do it justice! We enjoyed a relaxing stay at the cabin and visited the nearby reservoir. The cabin is neat and has everything you need. Would definitely recommend this place!

This was a perfect experience for us An excellent location Beautiful surroundings Easy booking and communication with the owners and a wonderful week in the most incredible state in the Union The house was secluded and peaceful, very comfortable, perfectly equipped and the owners were very communicative and thoughtful. The people of White Sulphur Springs were so friendly and helpful and there is so much beauty and things to do just a short drive away We've rented 5 or 6 properties trough VRBO and this was, far and away, the absolute best experience

The check in/out process was amazingly easy, the location was secluded, and extremely quite, the lodge was very clean and had everything we expected and then some, just like staying at a friends home. The property was just as described in the listing, I would hesitate to stay here again.

wonderful location and view
very clean, great view of the lake. loved the cabin with all the wood and trophies. everything you need to have an excellent vacation. owners really out did themselves to make you feel welcome and even took us hunting for elk (with a camera). we spotted a huge moose and got good shots of it. GREAT FUN! better reserve it now or you won't get it.....

Something very special!
This place is beyond cool, the property itself is an experience! It's built up on a bluff that's fit for a European castle, 360 degree views on God's doorstep. The cabin is lofted up above a garage and has a large deck about 15' off the ground, the coolest deck of any vacation rental I have been to. The second night I stayed I grabbed my camp cot from my truck and slept out there, watched thunderstorms on the horizon and listened to the night critters. It was like rewinding the clock back to childhood. If they rented out just the deck, it would be worth it. Inside the cabin is beautiful, very nice craftsmanship and ample room. There is even a cellphone booster that provides the only service for miles. And then there's the Reichenbach's, who are fantastic hosts. Great communication, and everywhere I looked they left subtle touches of hospitality that you don't even see at five star hotels. Total salt of the earth folks. If you're in White Sulfur Springs and you don't stay at the Reichenbach's, you've made a mistake!

Beautiful Mountain Cabin
When we arrived at the cabin we were blow away by the gorgeous views that surrounded us in every direction. All accommodations were as outlined in the cabin description. You couldn't ask for a more accommodating host than Shaun & Jody. They were very easy to work with and make their guest feel right at home. We will definitely be coming back.
