Corduroy Boutique Lodge

"We stayed at The Milkhouse for a last-minute overnight trip to see some nature. The cabin is definitely 'rustic' with some modern touches, and the essentials were taken care of—the bedding was clean, the TV and Wi-Fi worked great, and the small shower had excellent hot water. Because our cabin was tucked away in the corner near the back row of airstreams, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The Corduroy Boutique Lodge property itself is lovely, featuring a shared fire pit in the middle and a cute little coffee shop/store at the entrance. It's also in a very convenient location close to food, gas, and parks. While the nightly rate felt a bit high for a rustic experience, the owner was incredibly responsive and communicative when we reached out about a few minor details. The lodge rooms on the other side looked really nice, so we might check those out next time!"

"Great Location and charm of cabin life in quiet/peaceful setting. Property and cabins are well cared for, as they were very clean and tactfully decorated. They look and feel like brand new cabins. The staff was amazing, as they were able to let me in 2+ hours early, so I could get ready for a wedding. Thank you!!!"

"Location - Location - Location!!!! We spend 10 days at this property and only wish we could have stayed longer....The location of this cabin could not have been any better for us and our small dog. The cabin was located on the edge of town amongst the tall pine trees and oak trees and away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The last 1/2 mile to the cabin was gravel so that gives you an idea of the location. The property is 2 acres and the backyard was fully fenced for our Maltese to run around and smell all the dog senses from previous renters. Again, there were a total of 5 properties in our area, all with 2 acres of land and they all were secluded with trees. Highly recommend this to anyone that is looking to get away for piece and quiet. Everything - Everything -Everything!!!!This cabin had everything you would need for kitchen appliances to great mattresses on each of the beds. The pictures you see on the site is definitely what you see when you first walk in the front door. This home does not have AC but it was definitely not a issue for us. The morning were cool and we were even able to have a fire in the wood stove. This cabin brought back many memories of our cabin that we use to own in Colorado.We arrived earlier into town and we contacted the host (very friendly) and ask if we could have an early check in and allowed us to check in an hour earlier. You definitely will not go wrong in renting this location for your next getaway."
