Come and unwind at Blue Fig Cottage, located at Nightcap Ridge in the Byron Bay Hinterland surrounded by the Nightcap National Park. Curl up by the fire or go for a walk around the 67 acres of the property, surrounded by rainforest and enjoy the plethora of bird and animal life at your doorstep. There are lots of amazing swimming spots a stones throw from the property - Boomerang Falls, Whian Whian Falls. Searching with friends? We can sleep up to 10 (12 with foldaway beds) on the property. We have a second cottage ‘Rose Gum’ which is the same layout as the Blue Fig as well as a rustic studio log cabin which sleeps 2\. Plenty of birdlife and walking tracks. The gravel road was a surprise on first run to property however if you want that degree of seclusion it is worth it and we easily navigated it each day, even on a dark rainy night in a sedan. There is plenty to explore in the area. Each night we sat around the firepit listening to the sunset birdsong and star gazing. Appreciated the break from technology and, if needed, there was good reception at the front gate. Stayed seven nights during school holidays, would choose to stay longer outside that period.
