Wexford Wildfowl Reserve

Cute place to stay above a lovely pub and on the water. Good value for money. Pros: dog friendly, beach access, beverage tray with sparkling water and tea/instant coffee and a kettle (always nice). Little things that could be improved: there was no full size bath towel, just a hand towel and shower mat, window had been left ajar for fresh air (which is great) but meant that by the time I arrived, there were a ton of knats/midges/little bugs inside and outside the window.

I have stayed multiple times in this hotel in the past two years, the staff have been superb. Eating here is always good - both dinner and breakfast. The only small negative point is the upper car park, anyone with mobility issues will struggle carrying a suitcase whilst walking down three sets of steps.

The rooms we stayed in were detached and behind the pub laid out in a motel style arrangement. Absolutely no noise from the pub. Rooms very clean, excellent shower. Very easy to walk downhill into town and the quayside.
