Our group enjoyed this excellent location, with proximity to the beach and the port. There are three en-suite bedrooms, one with an extra pullout, and a powder room on the main level. There are balconies, a barbecue, and fire pits. The toilet upstairs is wobbly and there was some sand in the pull out bed but otherwise the place was pristine and comfortable. We walked the beach with the doggies, watched the Olympics in the garage rec room, and went fishing. Short walk to beach.. very stormy, rainy and windy but that's what we expected and loved hearing the waves crashing! New appliances. Full entertainment system and was easy to sign into our own streaming services. Tankless water heater so we never ran out and had hot showers! Would love to come back in the summertime! The kitchen set up was great for group meal preparation and the dining/ living areas provide comfortable space to hang out together. There is a Tesla charger in the garage which is great for those with Teslas. Our EV is not compatible with that, however, but there was an outlet right near the driveway that we could plug into. The house was a great layout for our group and I loved that each bedroom had its own attached bathroom. Wonderful living space with open kitchen, dining, and living spaces and overall the house was super clean. Oh and lastly I appreciated that every single light switch in the house was labeled with what light it controlled. Easy beach access, quiet area. House is new but has been on-off market so not sure how long this will be a vacation rental. Hot water is on demand so everyone got a hot shower even with dishwasher running! Radiant heat on first floor so be aware and know how to operate it. Missing a few basics like a full set of measuring spoons, cups, and dish rack. But well stocked on other items like soaps. Video game unit isn’t operating but it didn’t bother most of us. (Just one excited husband to play some old school arcade). The general appearance of the property is clean and neat, but once we got settled in, we all noticed a lot of pet hair all around the house. Our party was comprised of dog lovers, but we did bring our pets on vacation and didn't want to see pet hair in our rooms. I understand that this property is "pet friendly" which is great, but to me there should never be evidence of previous pets in the house. There was dog hair downstairs, and upstairs in the master, just out in the middle of the floor. It looked like the cleaner didn't even attempt to vacuum or sweep the floors. If i were staying in a hotel, or any other B and B, I would not expect to see pet hair on the floors. The rest of the property was clean and neat and organized. ##### Jacob C. Every detail was thought of, from the fuzzy blankets to the coffee bar. We were looking for some R&R and definitely found it at The Spot.
