We had a wonderful stay at this lake-front cottage looking up at the nearby ski resort. The cottage was cozy and quiet in a great location. The check-in process was easy, and the owner was very accessible. Terrific rental!
Beautiful location on the lake with view of Wachusett Mtn. Had a great stay relaxing by the fireplace as it snowed. House was as advertised in the posting.
The property was amazing! We had so much fun. All amenities that were listed were there! The bedrooms were spread out (master on first floor and 2 bedrooms upstairs), which made it easy for people to do separate activities and not be bothered. Thanks to the hosts!!! Definitely would recommend.
The house is really cute in a vintage way and located down a short dirt road. Other than a recommendation to get a vehicle with good traction in case of mud, the listing contains everything you'll need. The kitchen is quite large and well furnished, and the whole house has fantastic views.
I loved the stovetop in the kitchen! We had everything we needed to make lots of good meeals while we hung out with friends. We spent as much time on the lake as we could, we need to visit in the summer to get the most use out of the lake. It was a great house to enjoy the fall color and debate whether Mt Wachusett is really a mountain (it qualifies by 8 feet)
We came “ home” to attend our granddaughter’s graduation. We rented the house to be close to our kids and grandkids. It was a perfect spot for family get together. The kids brought their kayaks and we used the ones provided. Very peaceful stay. Would rent again.
The drive in to the property was lovely over a small one-lane bridge with a view of the mountains to the left. The house was well-appointed and beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the tv room on the second floor and the array of sleeping options.
Perfect little lake cabin with an amazing view. Our family thoroughly enjoyed relaxing well getting ready for my nieces wedding and hanging out by the fire pit at night. Highly recommended.
We had a great time at the cottage and were pleasantly surprised at the quaintness of the pond and surrounding community. Wonderful stay overall! We skied Wachusett. Which was 5 min drive and Wachusett Brewery was amazing! We recommend checking the sauna hookup first and more adult sized towels! Everything else was lovely!
There were enough beds for 4 adults and 4 children. Beds were comfortable and clean. Kitchen had newer appliances that worked well for cooking. Enjoyed corn hole game and basketball. Didn't have enough towels. Was very disappointed that washing machine was broken and old. Owner was very responsive to our issues and offered to send us new towels and pay for a laundromat. Sadly, there was no time in our schedule to go to a laundromat. Overall 4 stars rather than 5.
A gorgeous setting on the lake. The interior was a bit tired and warn. Could use some upgrades. A dresser in the master bedroom would have been very helpful. The heating was nearly non existent in the bathroom and master bedroom ( thank you for the space heater) we really enjoyed sitting by the fire and watching movies or playing intense family hangman on the black board. It was a quiet and peaceful setting. Thank you for your hospitality!
We had a fabulous family vacation. We brought our boat and had no trouble getting into the lock for the association boat ramp. The house was great. My sister rented the little house just down the street for her family. Being the bigger house her sons stayed with us. The a/c for the bedrooms was refreshing after long days on the boat. The boys fished everyday and the neighbors were kind. it was a nice quiet vacation. I only left the house to get ice cream. 1 suggestion is to bring a fan for the living room it helps circulate the A/C. We brought one with us and it helped keep the living room cool on the 90 plus degree days. having 2 bathrooms was helpful as there were a bunch of us. the kayaks were a huge hit with the boys. It was a great week!
We had a wonderful week at this lake house in Westminster. The house was comfortable and had enough room for a crowd. The lake was great. We kayaked every day. We brought some kayaks and used some that were provided. Spent a lot of time out on the deck that overlooks the lake. The hammock and fire pit were well used also. Kids did some fishing off the dock and caught quite a few. Neighbors are close but it was quiet and serene. Grocery store and restaurants are close by. Tyler checked in a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans. I would suggest a bit more silverware and some big coffee mugs. I like a big cup of coffee while admiring the lovely lake in the morning. Ceiling fans and air conditioners kept it plenty cool and comfortable. We rent a lake house every summer and this one was great.
My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 boys ages 13&16) and my brother-in-law’s family of 4 (2 adults and 2 girls ages 20&22) stayed for the weekend (Friday-Sunday) the first weekend in February. Very nice home with a beautiful view right on the Lake with the Ski Mountain in the background. Only 5 minutes to the mountain. The owner was quick to respond by text with any questions we had. Beds were all comfortable except the pull out couch needs a new mattress. Having only one shower for 8 people was a challenge but we managed for the one weekend. For a winter stay I would not recommend more than 7 or 8 people for those reasons. In the summer you can use the outdoor shower so can probably have 8 or 9 people. We cooked all our meals in the house and were able to use the outdoor grill as well. My nieces enjoyed the sauna and we all enjoyed a nice fire while watching a movie after a long day of skiing. My family of 4 is considering going back in the summer to enjoy more lake activities.
Very cozy and beautiful scenery. It had everything we needed and even a complimentary bottle of wine. Would definitely stay here again. Had a ball playing chutes and ladders game that was there.
This place is exactly how they describe it! Charming, cozy and clean! The fireplace is a nice added bonus. The hosts get right back to you with any questions. I would happily stay here again, thank you for having me!
This was an amazing place for a little time away with friends. The space is much larger than the pictures can show. Excellent host who checked in to make sure everything was good without being overbearing. We would absolutely stay here again. Great value.
Awesome place for the whole family to gather. The house is large, quirky and comfortable. The decks, open lawn, fire pit and dock all got a lot of use on the sunny days. On the rainy days we were snuggled up on the couch in the sunroom, or playing games inside. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!
