We paid extra for a river view room, but were very disappointed to find a scaffolding tower to the side of our balcony blocking half the view. The room was set back from the front of the hotel and so the remaining view was limited (Room 501). We asked to move, the staff were very accommodating, but it would have to be next day as they were full. When we got back from our day out and went to the new room, we were not impressed. "The breakfast was very good. The room was great, lucky to have a river view. The view from the terrace while having a drink and from the restaurant was very nice. The sauna was great, on from a little after 16.00 I would have loved a kettle in the room and the menu wasn’t extensive and as a carnivore generally had the veggie option which happened to be very tasty.
