Absolutely loved it. We knew the food was great, but wanted to have a few drinks this time around so booked a room.
Terrific value, in a lovely setting and the staff are also lovely. Going to make this a regular thing
A charming Inn with comfortable rooms and a great atmosphere. The bar serves a good range of beers, wines and spirits st very reasonable prices. The food was excellent with a superb choice of dishes available. I would certainly recommend this Inn as a place to stay or just to have a meal.
Room excellent, food brilliant, lovely quiet countryside just minutes from Halifax and Bradford.
A hand with the bags to the room would have made a perfect stay.
The greeting was fantastic, the room is gorgeous, the old mill is full of character and twisted floors.
The restaurant is phenomenal, staff and service exceptional. We had the most amazing steak “chateaux Briane” cooked to perfection with stunning deserts to follow! Truly a little gem tucked away in the valley.
This is a very unique setting. It provides atmosphere and a sense of the old world. I think any Outlander fans would love it! The food was excellent and Adrian made me the best eggs benedict that I have ever had! I wish I had known about this place sooner!
The Shibden Mill Inn never disappoints. If you are in this area of Yorkshire it's simply the best choice you can make. Easy walking on through peaceful countryside on bridleways and footpaths straight out of the front door. Add in a great bar, an imaginative, well executed menu and friendly staff with service that goes out of the way to make your stay enjoyable and you have everything you need.
Excellent hotel and beautiful location in the countryside

Outrageously over priced.
Very slow service for evening meal and breakfast. After 50 minutes from ordering I still did not have my 2 poached eggs with bacon. Had to leave without eating. Mattress very hard and lumpy
This place really is a hidden gem, I love it. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. Food is simply divine, charming bar area and rooms are marvellous
The good. Great bed and linen. Quiet room and very helpful staff. Breakfast was great.
The bad No out look only one small high window and some skylights . Silver fish and precious occupants nether region hair on floor in bathroom. Expensive.
Warm welcome, friendly helpful staff, comfortable clean rooms, delicious food which I felt was good value for money. Hotel was Beautifully decorated in time for Christmas.
Warm and welcoming on a winter’s day, log fires, sofas, good beer, cosy places to sit.
Our room was comfortable but a little small, clean and elegantly furnished.
Room was beautiful. Restaurant had a dedicated vegan menu. The Hotel was charming as were the staff. I met the owner as I was leaving and he was so friendly. I will definitely be returning with my partner for a walking holiday.
Great service from all staff and nice to see young, locals being employed. Food at breakfast and dinner was top notch and all awards won are richly deserved.
Lovely place to stay for a short break with friendly efficient staff and good food in a lovely tranquil setting. The breakfast with home made black pudding and locally sourced food was exceptional.
Not quite so sure about the narrow, steep, cobbled roads in the vacinity for larger cars but they will be ideal for the cyclists as they fly past the Shibden Mill Inn on the Tour de Yorkshire in early May, It should be spectacular to watch on TV..... or on the large screen at the Inn.
Our first visit to Shibden and it is placed in beautiful Yorkshire countryside. The staff were totally excellent, as was dinner in the restaurant. Super!
Very friendly helpful staff, fantastic food. Room was a little cramped, and need more staff on at breakfast. Went on a couple of the local walks, good that they have provided a leaflet and basic map for this. Would go back.

Poor Value
My room was very small and had a very low grade shower room. I had expected a lot more for the price. It's a shame as the restaurant was really good. Clearly this is a place to eat but not to stay
We really enjoyed our break at Shibden Mill Inn. Excellent customer care and service. Extremely tasty breakfast using locally sourced produce, including free range eggs which is great from an animal welfare perspective. Comfy room and good shower. Thank you
