Room 117 bathroom was poor hot tap was broken bathroom door had to be slammed to shut it and the bath screen didn’t fit in bath allowing water from the shower to flow on to the floor . Bath robes old and rough . Not impressed as we paid extra for an upgrade room

Really enjoyed our overnight stay. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The location is great for Leeds centre ( everything in walking distance) we stayed in a cosy double, the room was quirky, spotlessly clean and had all the amenities needed, The bed linen was luxurious. The room was small but adequate for one night. It lost a star on the bed.... It was a small double, no bedside tables, not a major problem but the bed itself was about a foot from the headboard/wall which wasn't noticeable as it was covered with pillows until we came to get in it. This meant the pillows kept falling down the gap, which meant a very disturbed sleep, you couldn't budge the bed up to the wall either. This really needs looking at, even if a board was put in to support the pillows. Other than that a great stay. Also the offer to leave luggage after we checked out was excellent. Thankyou!

Nothing particularly special, and nothing too serious to complain about. Prior guest had stolen the TV aerial cable which reception resolved swiftly. Room we had was definitely ready for a refresh. Wallpaper peeling off, paint scuffed off in many areas. Bed was comfortable. Toilet, for some reason, is positioned as close to the wall as physically possible. Breakfast, the continental side was impressive. The cooked side was embarrassing. Full English was as poor a looking breakfast as Ive ever seen in a hotel. Every item comes burried in pepper to give it some taste. 1 anemic sausage looking sorry for itself. Didnt expect a Premier Inn breakfast to be better than a Malmaison breakfast but here we are. Very average indeed.

Nice hotel but not particularly luxurious even in a Club Room. Disappointing that kitchen closes at 9pm and room service after this time is very basic. Ended up walking across road for a curry at 9.30 rather than having room service.

For the location of the hotel, I was expecting it to be a noisy, especially on a weekend but was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the room was. Check in was easy and fuss free. The staff were lovely especially the short haired blonde person behind the bar, who wore glasses. The hotel was overly warm in the bar/foyer area but didn’t matter in the room, as it had air con. Stripped bed upon leaving and saw a very stained, dirty mattress.

A pleasure as always
This is my second stay at the Leeds Malmaison and the 5th or 6th stay at Malmaison I think. As always, comfortable spotless rooms. Bathroom was OK but seems it was about to be replaced as there was lots of work going on in adjacent rooms (although very little noise associated with this work).

Receptionist really accommodating and help full terrible service in the restaurant in the in the evening had to ask for a menu didn’t ask if my food was ok if I needed anything additional no service what so ever very dissatisfied for a reputable hotel. Terrible service at breakfast also waited 35 minutes for my breakfast to arrive had a teams meeting that I was late for staff very disengaged.

Chloe was highly efficient with style & panache!
We had a superb experience staying at the wonderful Malmaison Hotel in Leeds. All the staff were excellent, extremely hospitable and provided us with superb service. The most outstanding and wonderful member of the staff that looked after us is called Chloe and she provided us with the highest possible level of seamless service with both style and panache! All was good especially the welcome and the £1 cocktails bought as part of the breakfast package. Enjoyed very much the bar experience. The room was stylish and comfortable, only downside was the shower - very difficult to get the temperature of the shower low enough to enter. We had breakfast and liked the way it was presented and served, the only down side was the cooked element was a bit colder than expected. Will definately book again

(1) Check in, bar service, room all good. (2) Some disappointment at breakfast when having been asked for any allergies my partner said “kiwi”. We were then told there was no kiwi. Subsequently my partner took some fruit salad and saw kiwi in the bowl. This could have been very problematic. (3) We were disappointed with the response at check out with regard to our question about how the discounted parking rate was obtained. We felt somewhat dismissed in the response and even when we explained that we had booked via Hotels.com and had not seen that we had to pre-book in advance there was no real acknowledgment or offer of any customer service.

Great hotel in a great location. Second time we’ve stayed here and would definitely return again. Checkin was smooth and the receptionist was lovely and friendly. Rooms are great spacious and clean. Location is ideal as everything is within walking distance. Another great stay .

Meh, saving grace is the lovely staff team
Staff were all lovely, but the hotel felt worn and in need of update, most notably the room and its ensuite. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable.
