West Yellowstone retreat
Had an amazing stay here at this property. The condo is very clean and updated nicely. Anything that you would need for a long or short stay is provided to you. The location is great and within walking distance to everything. The overall process was seamless. Would stay here again.

Top Notch Accommodations In West Yellowstone
Communications with Rocky was great! The Blue Grouse is a high-end accommodation with comfortable beds, luxury linens and a kitchen with all the equipment and tools you'll need to enjoy in-home dining. It was perfect for our family of four. We will definitely stay here again when we travel to West Yellowstone!

West Yellowstone
West Yellowstone is basically one street with lots of accommodations, restaurants and stores just outside of the park entrance. We were there in Sept. Can't believe what the crowds would be like in the summer. Overall the accommodations were in a convenient location near a couple well reviewed restaurants. Basically everything in town is within walking distance so don't need to drive, unless you need to. The accommodation was well equipped, comfortable beds. It is on the second floor if there is a need to have a first floor accommodation.

Loved the Blue Grouse; would stay there again!
Our stay at the Blue Gross was fantastic! The condo has everything you could ask for. It has a fresh updated look. The bedrooms were very spacious as well as comfortable. The surrounding area looked looked sketchy at first but we had no issues whatsoever. The only issue for us was limited parking but the owner advised us where to park the second vehicle and that turned out to be fine. We’ll definitely stay at the Blue Grouse for our next visit!

Perfect for our needs!
Great location, clean property with comfy beds- what more do you need?! After a long day in the car exploring Yellowstone in the car, we loved that there were so many restaurants within walking distance of the property. The property felt so warm and inviting with the music playing and lights on as we entered and thank you for giving us more than one bath towel and wash cloth per person. We will recommend your property to others!

Beautiful with all the comforts and convenience
Rocky thought of and provided everything we needed to ebjoy our stay in his beautiful condo. He not only furnished ample supplies, linens, seasonings, cookware, it was all high quality! I've never rented a condo so well furnished as this. The location in W. Yellowstone is great too, if you don't want to stay in the national park.

Roomy getaway
This was a very clean place for us to stay for our Yellowstone vacation. We loved that there were 3 spacious bedrooms for us to spread out in. There was some noise at night from the restaurant nearby, and we had to have our windows open because there’s no A/C—very typical for the area. We would have also liked more skillets. There was only one tiny one for us to make breakfast in every morning. We did love that it was on the edge of town, so there wasn’t a ton of traffic outside. Overall, it was a great stay and we would definitely recommend.

Great base for Yellowstone NP visit
We really enjoyed our stay in Rocky's place. It was very clean and comfortable for our visit to Yellowstone. Lots of extra towels. Comfortable, large rooms with plenty of place to store our clothes and things. The beds were clean and comfortable. Easy parking right outside. We loved Rocky's photography of wildlife and enjoyed chatting about the images on the wall. We were impressed that it seemed he was the photographer! Amazing! We would definitely recommend this spot to others. Thanks for a great experience Rocky!

This location was the best discovery! It was exactly as described in the listing! The apartment was absolutely beautiful and spotless. We were welcomed with nice music, it smelled wonderful, and the ceiling fans were on. We could walk to grocery, shops and restaurants. Close to the West Yellowstone entrance which made entering the park each day so easy. Everything we needed was provided for us. We felt right at home. Highly recommend!

After years of staying at hotels when we come to YS, we have found the only place we will stay! I have never stayed anywhere so clean and so well stocked. And the finishes are beautiful. This was a truly unreal experience. We have rented houses and condos all over America for 50 years and this was hands down the best taken care of place we have ever stayed.

Winter vacation
We had a great stay at the blue grouse while skiing at Big Sky and touring West Yellowstone. The rooms were warm and had very comfortable beds. Due to all of the snow we did encounter a small roof leak, but Rocky was on it and he was able to quickly get us into an adjacent property, the white heron. There we finished our stay and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to West Yellowstone.

This is the best place to stay when in West Yellowstone. The owner clearly takes very good care of this property and takes pride in the property. The property was cleaned to the highest standard. I always notice when something is not cleaned well and I found nothing of the sort here. The owner clearly thought of every detail from large to small. Even the Keurig was turned on with the water already heated when we arrived. I will absolutely stay here again with my wife and kids. We loved West Yellowstone and hope to stay longer next time.

Steep killer steps
We were shocked to find 17 steep steps we had to climb to enter the property. They weren’t mentioned in the listing. One. Person in our group was recovering from knee surgery and this was a big problem. We left a day early as the property was too difficult for us. These stairs should be disclosed so that disabled people don’t stay there. Very disappointing stay

I am so sorry you found the stairs difficult. The ad says it is an upper level unit and several of the pictures show the stairs/staircase. I will be adding more verbiage so that no one else misses it in the future. Please travel safe where ever life takes you!

Five Stars Through and Through
Already looking forward to returning. No complaints about the home. Here are our top 5 things we loved. Very clean. Clean sheets, towels, furniture, kitchen, bathroom, amenities, floor, etc… Fantastic! Well stocked. This was the best stocked home we have ever stayed at in our decades of vacationing throughout the U.S. Zero issues cooking food, washing clothes, using extra towels, etc… I usually bring my own kitchen knife since most rentals knives are dull, but not here. Location. Home is in walking distance to shops and restaurants, we had no issues letting our kids (preteen/teen) walk around by themselves. We loved the fact that it is on the edge of town, less noise, less crowds. There are actually trails down the side road leading into the park, found this out on the last day. If we knew, we would have hiked it. Lastly, best burger in town, TR’s, which is about 75 feet door to door. Highly recommended. Proximity to the park – Very easy to get in and out of the park on a daily basis. Prime location to some of the top attactions the park has to offer. Communication. Zero issues communicating with Rocky, quick to reply, flexible when we asked to adjust by a day. Bottom-line – we will stay here again.

The location was very convenient with many places to walk to for shopping and dinners out, not to mention it is super close to the west entrance of Yellowstone Park. I cannot say enough about the Blue Grouse. The host was incredibly responsive whenever I reached out. The rental was incredibly well-maintained, incredibly clean and had an amazing location. We could walk to all the restaurants and grocery stores; and the West Yellowstone entrance was right there. Beds are incredibly comfy, towels were soft and thick, and the host just has a great attention to detail...sugar for the coffee, laundry detergent, plenty of storage, plenty of space.
