Pleasantly surprised,? I assume by the 3 star rating you left us.... Thank you so much for that. We do have a couple of outside pics, but since our exterior isn't as pretty, you already know. Safety is never an issue at The Upper Level....... We are staffed 24/7, our doors remained locked at all times and we are rsvp only. Hi & sorry we didn't exceed your expectations. Your right about a drew things. . But let me explain. This historic building is from the 1920's, my friend…. One too many hairdryers and we have to rush to the fuse box. . . we know…. The stairs are a little steep. But changing the stairs would be changing the history of the building. . . Dixie highway gets very busy. thats true as well. But thats because we are situated downtown…...just a few blocks from the courthouse, the convention center, a few dozen restaurants & a whole lot of other exciting things our city offers. Safety is very important to us. We are proud to say that we have been incident free from day 1. We are a rsvp only, hotel alternative. staffed 24/7, surveillance cameras in common areas & the permitter. Shared bathrooms is deceiving. . . We are not a rest stop. Each restroom is private & looks just like the one in your home. Its just NOT inside your room. The Upper Level provides more than just a room. Our uniqueness creates experiences. Its too bad you didn't stay. We also know that we are not for everyone, but we are not trying to deceive anyone. On the contra ire, We like to be different. .

Beautiful 2 queen bed room with linen partitions hanging from the ceiling, a 60" tv and a huge ufo sofa in the middle. This is certainly one of our most popular rooms. The Upper Level actually has 9 rooms and 6 baths and your right…..since we are staffed 24/7 - our place is super clean. We clean the restrooms almost after every use, for your convenience. We have a 4 member team that breath, sleep & eat customer service…… The Presidential suite is definitely super awesome. This room has 2 entrances, a huge glass wall shower over looking the bedroom and the most comfortable king size bed ever !!! Room 6 is the Presidential suite…..Gorgeous room. . . Also, one f the only rooms that have an ensuite. Our goal was to provide a homey experience. A place where your encouraged to be yourself. The Upper Level is truly a unique experience. There is no other like us, cause at The Upper Level, its like living with assistants. Thanks again for the super awesome review. Hi Miss Lori…. OMG…. Please accept our sincerest apologies cause the blanket situation was so our fault. Truth is, laundry didn't arrive & we didn't have a back up. We had a full house, understaffed, overbooked & apparently this issue was overlooked. Each room is equipped with a/c & heat, as required by law. The door situation is actually supposed to make you feel safer. + we are staffed 24/7. This ensures no walk in traffic, limiting access to reservations only. However, After this review, we doubled up on comforters & blankets, created user friendly instructions for climate control use, immediately to make sure this never happens again. You kinda have to forgive us, now that your advice helped us become better. lol. .

Hi .... Im so sorry, but your so right.... We are not handicap accessible, but not by choice. Its an old building....built in the 1920's and I cant get an elevator in here. Our next property will certainly accommodate wheelchair accessibility. I am going to disagree on the safety part... We are female owned & operated. We have had no security issues withing our establishment or with our staff. Our team is on site, ready & willing 24/7.......But, the outer perimeter could use better lighting. 5 stars is what we yearn to earn....and it was our pleasure to accommodate you.

D.... My maan..... This is a great review. Its not to much, not to little....its just the truth. We definitely have the best team. Our place is immaculately clean. Our surrounding are not that pretty, but we are minutes from downtown. Parking lot is the worst...But we just acquired our own lot which will be gated & lighted up withing 30 days. And the bathroom thing .......Cleaned every hour, private, dove products, cotton hand towels and even a bluetooth speaker....but normally, it would be in your room. So We'll take your 3 stars and work on the other 2....Maybe next time your in town, you would provide us the opportunity to accommodate you again....
