9.4/10 Exceptional! (163 reviews)
Lovely staff and a really comfy bed. Breakfast took a long time to arrive as there was only one member of staff waitressing, and only the BBC channels worked on the TV in the bedroom.
The car parking situation isn’t ideal. Unless you arrive late in the evening after diners have left the pub you are lucky if you’re able to park.

The Fox & Maple is a great place to stay, the hosts Tina & Tony could not have been more friendly or accommodating, I would not hesitate to book here again when I’m next in the area.

"Nice building, although a noisy bar/nightclub is on the corner so bare that in mind. The room photos were not representative of what we got. Upgraded to the "courtyard suite" fairly disappointed by the standard of the rooms. Bathrooms are of a standard I'd expect in cheap rental property, generally ..."

8.2/10 Very good! (750 reviews)
"What a beautiful hotel. It’s a great location as not far from the New Forest. The staff are lovely & helpful. It’s dog friendly which is why I booked it. Breakfast was amazing & they brought a sausage for my dog. I would definitely stay here again"
