Amazing restaurant and beautiful castle. A gem of architecture, the bar made like a galleon was superb. The meal was excellent and the staff attentive. If there was one issue the sound travels between the bedrooms clearly as we heard snoring from another room all night. I'd certainly recommend this hotel and will return in future.

We stayed for one night. The location is great, right by the beach, great views from the beach-side rooms. Very welcoming and all staff friendly and ready to help when asked. Lots of space to park.

We normally book a hotel for our trips but prices in the Galway area were very high at the time of our visit as there was a music festival in progress. There are just three guest rooms all on the upper floor of the property. Each room has en-suite facilities. Our own room also had a vanity suite within the room. Our room was well maintained and spotlessly clean. The decor is very much in the style of a private house rather than a hotel. Guests also have use of a lounge downstairs with a multi...

We received a very warm welcome on arrival, and this continued throughout our stay - the reception and restaurant staff are excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, many arranged around a courtyard garden and with mountain views. We ate in the restaurant every night and found it to be excellent, with a varied menu. Other reviews are critical, but I'd take those with a pinch of salt. Sample menus are available on the website. If you are looking for...

Beautifully rennovated bedrooms including small fridge and usb sockets!

It is adjacent to Knock Shrine. The staff were lovely and welcoming in all areas. We were on bed and breakfast the food was lovely and plenty of choice. Would recommend highly.

Wonderful place staff lovely and very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place to stay it is very clean and well run place. Thanks everyone for your hospitality

Room was very warm despite heating being off, not usually an issue but as we were at the front of the hotel having the window open meant we had a lot of traffic noise from the very busy road. comfy bed with mattress and pillow protectors nice deep bath. Free wifi good enough to stream a movie without buffering.

Everywhere was clean and shining seating comfortable and everything was laid out. There was nothing to dislike

Lovely hotel with great amenities and lovely grounds. Room was great and a very generous breakfast served each day. The restaurant was a bit pricey however, food is delicious with good portions. Staff all very helpful. Will stay here again.

brilliant staff we even extended our stay room is so clean friendliest staff food amazing could fault our stay was amazing kids loved the kids club

We stayed in Ennis as a base so we could visit the Cliffs of Moher and Father Ted's house. It was perfect for us. The staff were really friendly and even got our room early because we had been on the road for four hours. They made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. Our family room was excellent with a good size double bed and bunk beds for the kids. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting County Clare.
