If you are planning to spend a lot of time in the park, the location couldn’t be any better. The house is exactly as described and perfect for daily trips to explore GNP.
Perfect retreat from a day exploring Glacier National
Clean, simple, efficient and comfortable. A quiet peaceful retreat with very little noise from trains and non from the freeway, something that’s hard to find near Glacier. We loved our mornings making breakfast in the old school kitchen and sitting out on the deck with our coffees. The location is also hard to beat. Walking distance to the Belton Chalet for fantastic dinner or walk to the village for more options and dessert. Highly recommend this little big treehouse.
The property was well maintained and clean when we arrived. We cooked great food, admired the views and enjoyed our stay. We were very close to the East Gate of Glacier National Park. A great place to rest and relax after our day trips onto the beauty of the surrounding areas.
The house has room so that people can have there space or spend time together. With multiple sleeping arrangements on each floor helps to navigate staying with people who have mobility issues. The house was also well stocked for cooking there but also close to multiple eating options.
The Glacier House was more than we could have asked for while spending family time with our grown children. We all had plenty of room to store our things and comfortably be together or spread-out. My son has been to Glacier NP a few times and was very impressed with the location! We loved the views and it feels very private even with a few, quiet neighbors. We would definitely stay at the Glacier House again.
The house feels newly renovated, clean and comfortable. It is about 10 minutes walk from the west entrance of the park. Though FYI, it is about 3 miles walk from the entrance to the closest shuttle stop.
If you are planning to cook at home, pay attention there is no dishwasher.
There is some larvae on the ground floor, but I assume it could be easily treated.
Overall, we had great time at the house, and the combination of quality and price is reasonable.
This was our first time in MT. The property is well maintained with a great view of the mountains and very easy access to Glacier National Park. We recommend this property.
Spacious, clean, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, large fully equipped kitchen, ping pong table, washer and dryer. Great location just outside Glacier NP. Massive windows facing the mountains, deck on 3 sides of the house. Excellent for a family! Thanks for letting us stay at “The Glacier House”!!!
I could have stayed in this house forever! I loved the design and how it was set up. We spent much time on the balcony overlooking Glacier National. It was perfect! The Glacier Highlands restaurant at the bottom of drive was an added bonus. Would love to visit a gain in the snow! Highly recommend!!!
I LOVED this place. Right near the gate to the National Park. But away from the maddening crowd. Some train noise, but I enjoyed it - kind of romantic.. Big, and roomy. Everyone could have their own space. Worth every cent of the fee.
Our family really loved the stay at this house. It’s very close to the West entrance and it’s also tucked into the woods. We hardly noticed any neighbors.
House is very clean and had a lot of big windows with a nice view of the trees. Also, surprised how roomy the house was. The ping pong table was also a nice addition.
If you like privacy, this is the house for you. No complaints, everything was just as described, even better.
The Glacier House was perfect for our trip to the national park in Montana. It was clean, well supplied, and comfortable in every way. Access was easy from the airport but also seemed remote and well hidden because it was up the gravel road hidden in the trees. There are so many options for gathering with the family from the big couch, to the long dining table for meals or games, to the outside seating at the table, or spending time in our rooms looking out the windows. The first morning there waking up to the sunrise through the trees with mountains in the distance apprecited from the master bedroom bed was stupendous. The bear spray, insect spray and huckleberry jam were a bonus. It was super easy to get to the park ad spend the day hiking and exploring too. The Belton Chalet restuarant and the Glacier house restaurant (Don't really know the name of the restaurnat and store at the bottom of the hill because we just called it the Pie Place) were convenient and good. We are relishing our time there and have many happy memories to get us through the rough edges of return to the real world.
