The hotel was nice and served its purpose during our trip. Since it was off season, finding parking was easy in the lot and the grounds and lodge were pretty empty our whole stay. The big problem we had were bugs in our room. I think my boyfriend killed at least 3 every single night (we left at like 6 am to go hiking most days so we were not letting them in through the doors). My boyfriend also found an old apple core that looked like it was 6 months old under our bed (he was looking for a dropped item on the ground and reached his arm like a foot under the bed and felt it), which made us feel that the cleaning was really not up to par. The mini fridge in the room was convenient, but the microwave being in the hallway for all to use was mildly inconvenient at times when we wanted to microwave water for tea. They did give us these bagged breakfasts with a pastry, nutrigrain bars, water, juice, and fruit, which were all very useful before our long hikes. Overall, it was an average end of season stay and I would stay here again.
