You are literally steps away from shopping, restaurants, and gas stations. The cabin itself is super nice! Was nice to have a kitchen with everything we needed. They even had a couple of coolers in the unit that came in handy for the long days in the park. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. We even had breakfast on the patio on our last day! Last thing - if you haven’t been to GNP, GO!!! Just a short walk to the restaurant and stores located just a street away. We brought our bikes and biked the 2 miles to Apgar along a lovely bike path. We rented electric bikes in Apgar Village to make our way further into Glacier. The cabin was just perfect. We made some meals \[perfectly appointed kitchen for this purpose\] sat by the fireplace and enjoyed our coffee as a black bear ambled down the back lane. Pileated woodpeckers \[a pair\] enjoyed berries from a backyard bush. We hiked, rode bikes, read books, painted, napped, ate and enjoyed our time at the cabin. Would go back in a minute. After 1700 miles of driving it was such a breeze! I planned one day to just stay around the cabin and relax, and everything is laid out so well that you can't help but be comfortable. Each night, after exploring Glacier NP, I always looked forward to cooking a hot meal in the fully stocked kitchen. Prefer to have someone else cook for you at one of the West Glacier Village restaurants or get an incidental item at the grocery store? They are a 5 minute walk from the cabin. And you are a 3 minute drive to the West Glacier NP entrance.
