West Dixie Bend Holidays from £401

They have airport transportation but only until 4:30pm. With a check-in of 4pm, they effectively do not have transportation. This was the main reason I picked this hotel. I ended up having to hire an Uber which cost more money. Beware.

Since I don't trust a certain airline, we fly from Seattle to Fort Lauderdale and then drive to Miami for a flight to the islands by way of another airline that I could have taken in the first place. This hotel is very convenient to the airport and I don't have to use GPS or Google. It's close to many restaurants and if you want to self cater there is a Publix not too far away. I'll be back!

Close to the airport & very convenient.

My experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. I called multiple times and waited more than 40 minutes before anyone answered the phone. When someone finally did answer, the employee was rude and offered no sense of urgency or customer service. I was also waiting for the hotel shuttle, but it never arrived. To make matters worse, I left a message for the manager, but my call was never returned. I also contacted Marriott Customer Service by email and never received a response. This level of service falls far below what I expect from a Marriott property. I have stayed with Marriott many times over the years, and this experience was unlike anything I have encountered. Unfortunately, experiences like this are one of the major reasons I continue to choose Hilton whenever possible. Customer service matters, and in this case, it was lacking at every level. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements for future guests.
