"Wonderful views of an amazing lake from this property, which has obviously been well-crafted and well-loved by the owners, who are friendly, accommodating, and professional. It's hard to choose where to spend your time between the main floor, the upper deck, or the water-level veranda/dock, but you can't really go wrong. Hiking and biking are just out the door, the Laggerhof is right up the hill for a meal or a drink, and the ferry stop next door will take you wherever you like (and back)...

"1. I waited 15 minutes because no one was at property when I arrived at 14:00. Neighbors helped locate owners. 2. Room temperature was cold initially but electric heater was brought to room. This helped. Only 1 towel was in room but more brought with request. 3. NO door on the shower which meant the ENTIRE bathroom floor was wet when the shower was used. The water would drain toward the bedroom."

"The hotel is in a lovely spot. We booked a room with the mountain view but enjoyed a fantastic view of the lake while eating a delicious breakfast. You could describe the room as modern classy, comfortable bed, nice lighting gadgets and a spacious shower. The staff was incredibly friendly during our check in and check out. We even got a small gift for our departure. While we did not use it, there is also a Tesla destination charger. Overall, highly recommend the hotel! "

"What a wonderful and interesting place to stay! I almost couldn’t leave and explore as there’s so much to see within the premises. My particular room would not be many people’s choice of decor but it was such a talking point and did not deter from the comfort. This hotel could never be called boring and the restaurant was incredible with absolutely fabulous food. The staff were fantastic and so accommodating and warm. "We had booked 11 hotels in Europe, this was the best one! Room was large, clean, great overlooking the lake (despite rain). Dinner was absolutely delicious (Wiener schnitzel and salad bar), breakfast the best of all, and the most friendly people. Go for it! Super value"
