Perfect
A buddy and I stopped in town for a couple days of hunting this was the perfect location. Tons of public land close to hunt on. House had everything we needed. It’s a old home and rustic which makes it even cooler! I’m sure as more people stay they will update things.

All you need!
Small house in the middle of a nice residential neighborhood... Owners live next door! We didn't spend a lot of time at the house as we were in the Wessington Springs area for hunting, but it certainly had everything that we needed when we were there. Dogs are welcome which was a HUGE plus!

SD State Fair Cabin in Wessington Springs SD
House was a lot older than it looked in pictures. Needed updates on electrical outlets which the owner has already started doing 😀 No central air. But owner had a portable air conditioner going. Due to the excessive heat they bought another floor unit which helped greatly!! Overall it was a good place to stay to get to Huron which was only about 20-25 mins. I did like the nastolgic atmosphere of the home. Just a bit underwhelmed as the pictures appeared as a remodeled home. Also, the town was very nice & friendly, had dinner & breakfast at the local restaurant. Good food & good service 😀 Overall a nice stay. 😀

Yes, we love our 1930’s bungalow and are so glad to have breathed new life into it. You visited us on the three hottest days of the year so we are glad the additional AC unit we purchased for your stay helped out a bit. Glad you experience our friendly town. Little House
It was nice enough for us as we basically needed a place to sleep and were gone a lot throughout the day. The fact that we could bring our little dog meant a lot to us.

State fair
Really old house, so bathtub/shower was old. But everything was super clean. The host seemed to have everything available you might need. It was a hotter weekend so it was hard to cool down all areas of house. This isnt a high end stay but it's clean, we had a roof over our heads, a place to sleep, and it's a quiet neighborhood so we had no problems.

Just right size!
In town for a memorial of a dear friend. This cabin was just the right size and location for us to get around the area. Nice two bedroom house with old farm house charm. The owner/managers were very friendly and helpful. Thank you! If we ever come back we will look for this home again.

Cute house
Very cute little house. Perfect for our weekend getaway. Pets are allowed and we were very happy to find that the house was so clean and did not smell like animals. Very clean.

Price was great. House was clean and private. Only issue was driveway is steep and it was icy. So hard to pull all the way to the top. Overall: Highly recommended!!
