We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Chilworth Manor while visiting Stonehenge, Avebury Stones, and Salisbury Cathedral. The property was once a manor and has evolved into a comfortable, well-maintained hotel, with substantial grounds and walking trails. The trails could use better upkeep.
We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel; the food and service were perfectly fine. Our only real drawback was that our third-floor room was accessible only by stairs, with no lift. An employee kindly helped us with our luggage, which we appreciated.
Overall, a pleasant stay with a lovely historic setting and convenient location for exploring the area.

A very comfortable boutique hotel with generous rooms and a great breakfast. We stayed four nights and would recommend it to anyone. The area nearby does have a few negative vibes but the hotel itself is in a beautiful street

We was supposed for the cost of the room that no real adequate cooling system was in place , instead - stepping into a room that was hotter than the rest of hotel we had already been and hotter than outside the building .
Might I suggest in hotter months that windows are opened and curtains closed to allow circulation of air through the room , it was the most uncomfortable stay we’ve had in a hotel in the summer time .
A small fan was just not efficient enough .
So to allow some sort of cooler room , windows were opened , curtains closed and fan was put by window to allow cooler air flow , though as I joked to the reception person , I think sleeping in the corridor would be better after he offered me ice though I’m not sure where he expected me to put the ice .
The restaurant staff exceeded themselves , so very polite and welcoming . A nice relaxed meal that was 100% out of this world .
I would recommmend 100% people to visit hotel for food , but to stay wouldn’t recommend especially in summer months where the hotel does not have any kind of A/C for the cost of the room .
Once again - restaurant staff - keep up the good work !!

"Our rooms had no air connditioning and the staff told us all the room in this hotel have no air con the weather was very hot and it was very uncomfortable to sleep over all the property and staff is good."
