Relaxing Getaway on Mt Hood - Right on the River!

  • Comfortable cabin on Mt Hood, in Welches, right on the Salmon River and directly across the street from golf at The Mt. Hood Resort. One level, no stairs. Two bedrooms, two full baths and a patio and deck to relax on and take it easy listening to and watching the river below. Main bedroom has a Queen. Guest bedroom has a Queen plus a set of bunks. Sleeps 6, plus two large couches in the living room.
    Linens included, as well as towels and firewood for the warm and cozy wood stove. New Washer & Dryer, Microwave, and wireless internet included.

Charming retreat right next to the river. It was lovely to listen to the river as I drank my coffee. I imagine in the summer it’s even better. We cooked a Thanksgiving meal and the home was stocked with everything we could possibly need to cook with. The home is well kept and clean. The communication with owner was quick and clear.

Mt Hood Skiing Trip

We enjoyed our stay here. It was pouring rain most of the time, so the wood stove was greatly appreciated and made the living space very cozy. This property was clean and well kept. The communication with the owner was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable vacation house

The river out back was neat. I wouldn't mind staying here in the spring too! House is very clean, has everything you might need to cook with plenty of precautions for in case of emergency. Its just a 20 minutes drive to Ski Bowl.

If you like Amazing views, this place is for you.

This house has it all. From the deck that overlooks the Salem River, to every utensil you could need for cooking, and they even put glasses in the freezer, which made for a very nice cold drink. There was even a hammock stand, with the hammock in the garage for use. We unfortunately didn't utilize this trip, but maybe next time. Love this place.

Amazing getaway

It was exactly what we were looking for. A little getaway from the city and a nice time to unwind. The cabin was as advertised, it was fully stocked with everything that you may need and close enough to stores in case you needed some last minute food items. The owners make sure you know exactly what to do, and where everything is at. We completely enjoyed our stay. Thank you for offering your home to rent.

We had a great time, house had everything we needed. Close to amenities, grocery store and restaurants. Beautiful country, close to water falls, hiking trails, river, fishing, golf. We went up to Mt Hood’s Timberline Lodge and Government Camp. In the evening we enjoyed the back deck overlooking the river, grilled out and watched the salmon swim up the river. We had a great family vacation.

Peaceful getaway

Arrived late in the evening and awoke to the most beautiful deck view of the river. The house had all the feels of a cabin getaway, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our simple Thanksgiving dinner. Took a nap in the hammock listening to the water, we will absolutely be back!

We stayed here for two nights. Even though it was raining, we enjoyed our stay here very much. Very cozy and comfortable. Loved the mattress! :) Thank you for letting us stay!! We enjoyed the sound of river, and we’d like to be back in summer.

AMAZING STAY!

Our family had a wonderful time together at this amazing cabin! It had everything we needed and then some! We were able to cook many meals with everything provided and many stores minutes away! We even got some snowfall and went tubing up at the mountain which was really close too!! Getting up in the morning and having a cup of coffee on the lanai with a breathtaking view of the river was the best!! Such a peaceful place that we hope to be able to return to!
