Weislik Nature Preserve

Old, but neat. Small, but cute. Very friendly and helpful manager. Very reasonable price. Window AC unit was old and did not work well. We were immediately moved to a slightly larger room where the AC worked well. Manager said they were gradually replacing the AC units. This is a motel. Just a place to sleep. Felt safe, but right on a main road. Would prefer to see a deadbolt added rather than just a door lock.

There was never any facility available!? When we arrived via GPS, could not contact anyone or see any evidence of a room and/or cabin for us to stay in? Phone posted on a door was not in service.

It is an older motel in need of upgrades. There was water damage in the bathroom that needed attention, and the pocket doors between the rooms did not work. For a quick stay before and after Mackinac Island, it was fine.
