All major roads, restaurants, and local attractions around the property are open and fully operational. The community has worked hard to restore everything, and we’re excited to welcome guests back to experience the charm and beauty that makes this area so special. In the wintertime, venture to Cataloochee Ski Area for cold-weather recreation just 10 miles away, and enjoy Maggie Valley Club Resort all year long, where you can play 18 holes on the mountain-style championship golf course. The home is located between Waynesville and Maggie Valley, a Smoky Mountain destination town that's home to plenty of dining and shopping options. With Cherokee only a half-hour away, you can spend a day exploring Native American culture or spend an evening catching a show at Harrah's Casino Resort. Get outdoors and take a journey on the Blue Ridge Parkway (access just down the road) to discover mountain hiking trails and spectacular waterfalls, and also walk the trail at Lake Junaluska (also just down the road). The ride to Asheville is smooth sailing with easy, year-round highway access. This Asheville vacation rental is located in Waynesville and is approximately 41 minutes from downtown Asheville.
