The home is spacious and the kitchen is great! The bedrooms were very peaceful and the master bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were perfect. The drive up to the house was a tad steep but I got used to it. It's in a neighborhood with lots of houses around. The neighbors were very nice. However, on the first day we were greeted with swarms of Lady Bugs in the house on dining room floor and window sills. I know it's Spring but we had to sweep them several times during our trip. Not sure how they got in the house. The most disappointing thing during our stay was the loud construction from the home being built about 20 yards up the hill right behind us. Hammering and saws started like clockwork every morning at 9 am. The noise made it difficult to read and relax. Also, the back porch is under some sort of rennovation. There were bricks everywhere so with the building noise and the bricks, the back porch area was basically unuseable. I'm sure once they complete the brick renno, the back patio area will be lovely. It would've been good to know about all of this ahead of time. Still, we would stay here again as it had so much room and was well-stocked. The front porch view was awesome and we spent a ton of time there but sure did have to wipe down the pollen every day! Springtime in the mountains!! Thanks. ##### lauren w.
