It is at the top of the hill above Junaluska with a magnificent view of Cold Mountain. The layout is fantastic for a large family. We especially enjoyed the chairs around the fire pit. The kitchen was spacious and allowed room for seven if us to prepare our own special dishes for Thanksgiving. There was also all of the pots, pans and dishes for preparing food. There was plenty of bedroom and bathroom space for everyone. The living room was roomy enough for ten people to comfortably sit, play games, open presents and watch movies together. When we saw the listing for this cabin it looks as if it is on the lake, but it isn’t. The view from the bedrooms, at night and from the balcony facing the driveway, in the mornings is just breathtaking. There were nine of us there and there was plenty of sitting space for all of us in the family room. The kitchen is nice and spacious too. It is about one minute away from Dunkin Donuts, dollar general and other stores. Parking is a little tricky for three full size vehicles so when you get there one by one go ahead and turn your vehicle around and back in. ##### Laurie E. The kitchen is well appointed and we loved the deck/porch areas for sitting out. The driveway is steep but there is lots of turnaround space at the top, which makes it easy to get back out again. We love the area around Lake Junaluska and Waynesville and this space was just what we needed for our base of operations. ##### Lenna A. The house was spacious and comfortable. A great location, it was very clean. There were a few very small things. The chair in the living was broken and did not stay up on one side. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Loved the porches and patios. Kitchen was well appointed and had lots of space to work in.
