Escape to this beautifully remodeled 3 bedroom 2 bathroom lake house on Lake Dubay (with a private sandy beach!) in Central Wisconsin. Perfectly located between Wausau and Stevens Point, WI. Enjoy 120' of sandy lake frontage. 8' deep at end of dock. The lake is 6,700 acres of outstanding fishing, water sports, swimming, and all the fun that a lake can bring. The home is located minutes from I-39, 15 minutes from Granite Peak Ski Hill, Sentry World Golf Course, and Nine Mile Forest, a top cross country ski area in WI. Spend every day on the lake or find your fun with tons of local or nearby recreational activities - year round! In the summer, enjoy campfires right near the water with direct, private access to the water. In the winter, enjoy the gas fireplace, beautiful views, and quick trips to the best ski hill in Wisconsin. Open concept home, great entertaining spaces, and all the updated amenities you'll love and need for your perfect vacation. The pontoon is also available to rent - inquire with host. Book today! The space Built and updated for year round use with 2400 sf of finished space. Updated and fully furnished kitchen with silverware, bowls, plates, pans, etc. - everything you need for great family meals! Huge custom sliding door on main level overlooks the deck and lake. Deck offers two seating areas and umbrella for table. Open living room features spacious high-end sofa, sitting chairs, gas fireplace, flat screen tv with local channels, and ability to plug in your own streaming device (FireStick, Roku, Apple TV, etc.) via HDMI. Bring your own and connect to our high speed wifi! Two bedrooms on the main floor. One with a queen bed, plenty of floor space, and huge closet. One with a king bed, plenty of floor space, and a large closet. One full bathroom with a large shower on the main floor. Washer and dryer on main floor as well. Tide Pods and laundry supplies are made available to guests. Downstairs features an awesome rec room with a bar, tables, and chairs that features a large sliding door to walk out to the lake frontage. The downstairs bedroom features a queen bed and a twin bed. The downstairs also has one bathroom with a shower. If you prefer to use a blow up mattress, you may bring your own and there is ample space downstairs to sleep. Outside features a huge fire pit area, 10 person picnic table, super comfy chairs, and ample yard space on the side and back of the house. A private retreat with mature trees to the north and a fence to the south. A few short steps to the lake brings you to the dock with great fishing, a private beach, and a bench for relaxing and taking in the view. In the summer, enjoy sandy frontage all along the shores that drops off quickly at the end of the dock for cannon-ball competitions. Pontoon Rental We have a 22' pontoon with a 50hp motor that is also available to rent for the duration of your stay. The pontoon is stored on a motorized lift at the dock at the house. Please inquire with host if you are interested in renting the pontoon! PLEASE NOTE: In the winter, the lake has a moving, continuous current from the Wisconsin River. Therefore, the thickness of the lake ice cannot be trusted or verified as safe. Guests should not go near the ice during cold months. There are inherent risks of lake or water recreation activities and guests are advised to enjoy the lake safely and supervise all activities properly. The host cannot control nor supervise lakefront activities of the guest. Nightly rate is based on 4 people. Extra charges will apply if #guests exceed 4\. Additional charges will be added for any additional guests that were not on the original reservation. We work hard to provide you with a 5 star experience and stay - please be transparent with the hosts so we can best accommodate your group. Pets/animals are not permitted in the home. Unauthorized guests or pets/animals will be assessed a $200 per night cleaning fee. Guest access Asphalt road with concrete and gravel driveway. Parking for 4+ vehicles and grass area for boat trailer parking. Garage will remain locked and is not available to guests. Other things to note This home is licensed for short-term rentals by the Marathon County Health Department. We follow local county health department rules for licensing and inspections. The home is inspected by the Marathon County Health Dept. annually, which includes visual inspection of interior and exterior, as well as a comprehensive water quality test (we pass the tests with ease!). The hosts also have two exterior security cameras - one in front of the home and one in the back. The cameras are not monitored unless requested by guests (due to an incident or issue) and are for guest/home security and safety. We loved this place so much and cannot wait to go back. It is a beautiful and in a perfect location. The house, amenities, the rooms, the beds are all so well kept…. Thoughtful touches for a perfect stay. We rented property for about 7 weeks while in town for a work project, couldn’t have been a better way to end each night then being able to return to a fully equipped, clean home to cook a meal and enjoy the lake views. It is a great property and very well maintained. You can tell immediately that the owner(s) care. We rented their boat as well, and while it is older it worked perfectly. The only criticism is the location. It is about a quarter mile from a very busy road, so while you are outside or by the fire you will hear and see road traffic. It is about 17 minutes to Granite Peak Ski Area. It was very nice to have the extra space that a house provides over a hotel room. House was clean. Management did shovel the driveway very quickly after several inches of snow fell. Stayed there in February so the lake was frozen solid so I cant say much about that topic. Kitchen was set up nice for cooking meals. Grocery store was about 10 minutes away. Would stay there again. ##### Matt O. It comfortably fit myself and 6 others. It was super spacious, allowing us to hangout at nights without feeling to cramped. Property is less than 30 minutes away from Granite Peak, which was exactly what my family and I were looking for. The only “downside” would be access to food, with most restaurants and fast food joints being \~15 minute drives away. However, that was no problem for us as we’d stay at the mountain til dark, grabbing dinner on our way home. And lastly, the whole process of renting and checking out was super smooth and easy.
