Needs renovation.
This hotel is falling apart. The nightstand was not put together and there where holes in the walls. The curtans did not cover thw widows all the way. We did get freah towels when we asked.

We're very sorry that the overbooking situation left you with a queen size bed instead of a king. Also, please note that guests will often disconnect the cable box to hook up their own equipment, such as Roku sticks, or game systems. This motel was run down ..small t.v. old time cable..all furniture scratched badly one broken...mattress old hard..leaking fridge..bad breakfast...room only cleaned once in three nights if that's what they called cleaning..drains keep backing up..bath tub had safety rail broken...rusty toilet and tissue holder..etc.etc. .

Most of our guests tell us that our breakfast is wonderful, our beds are very comfortable, our rooms are quite nice, and they enjoy our 32" flat screen TV's, cable with Showtime, and super fast internet for their streaming and gaming needs. Dirty bed sheet along with disgusting carpets. The pool was 55 degrees hot tub 68 degrees. Told by management the circuit breakers were off for the pools. It will be ready by morning. Morning breakfast was disgusting . On top of that we rented two rooms both had a moldy smell. i know why now it’s was only 2 half stars should have been smarter about booking the rooms. Won’t be a returning costumer.

It was dirty, and very old smelling. The kids were not happy the pool was like 50 degrees and hot tub no better. I would never stay there again. Oh and get a butt can by the door. Butts were all over the ground

We're sorry you had to deal with a temporary minor malfunction of the pool that required it to heat back up, and we know that angered you. We of course fixed it immediately but it simply takes a while for thousands of gallons of water to heat up. We also apologize for the other guest who ignored the smoker's post (aka "butt can") on our patio.

We realized that the hotel is being refurbished but there were a few things that were not due to that. The sheets in one of the rooms I reserved didn’t look like they had been changed. The bath towels were very thin and one of them was actually ripped with a hole in it. The heating system was off as well. Hard to control. Shower spiquet and sinks were not good. Overall it seemed not very clean

We were very disappointed in this hotel and the room that we stayed in. I even took pictures of our room and the pool area so that I can submit these to Expedia in hopes of getting a full refund. We were very unhappy. I feel like the pictures and description that the Expedia site had for this hotel were extremely misleading and wrong. Dirty, old and in some instances, overall gross!

This hotel was very reasonably priced. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel pool looked a bit dirty and the hot tub was broken when we visited, so we did not use those amenities.

We're glad you were comfortable during your stay, and found us to be a good value. FYI, our pool and spa use a sand filter system.This results in a few handfuls of sand residue settling to the bottom of the water, which is actually a good sign. It means there are no manufactured fibers to irritate the skin, just all natural, clean sand -- like at the beach. And we are sorry that the hot tub jets were damaged by another guest, but we have since repaired them. Come on back and enjoy them!

Good value for a hotel just 20 minutes from Madison on Badger game day. They could use some updates to the rooms, but it’s clean and the beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly and professional.

We're sorry your box spring broke, but we replaced it immediately upon being informed, before you returned to the hotel. And we're sorry the hot tub was broken by another guest, but please note we have since repaired it. FYI, what you thought was a leak ceiling in the pool area was just condensation, which happens in any indoor pool. And unfortunately, other guests had already taken our available rollaways, which are first come first served. All in all we're sorry that despite our best efforts we were unable to accommodate you to your satisfaction.

the floor on the bathroom was very sticky. very gross. also had a dirty towel still in our room when we checked in. there was no clean towels at all. we asked manager for towels. we had to finally go down to get some. we stayed two nights and there was no housekeeping done in our room.

Overall, the experience was nice and cozy. In terms of cleanliness, the hotel needs a lot of work. The towels were stained. I stayed with one another person and house cleaning serviced my bed but not my friends.

Our laundry processes are designed to sort out and rewash stained linens but sometimes it doesn't go as designed. Our apologies for that. As for your travel partner's bed, if they left personal belongings on the bed it is the industry standard to leave the bed and the guest property alone. When you travel, remember that you can leave notes for the housekeepers if you want services which are outside of the norm.

Bill, thanks for the compliment on our friendly staff! We appreciate that. Our coffee maker is a Curtis D500/d60 Gold Cup machine. Which is comparable to a Bunn model 38700.0010 (both about $650, top of the line machines). We make coffee starting very early in the morning, throughout the day and into the night, every single day. And we provide coffee and coffee pots in every room too. We do have an assortment of flavors to satisfy every taste -- including regular (aka "half & half"). Next time, look in the other hopper right next to the flavored creamers for the unflavored creamer. See you then!

I have stayed at Baymont Inn in Waunakee several times. The staff is excellent and always willing to help a person out when it is needed. I often come to the motel after I am done with work around midnight and am always greeted very pleasantly. They have an excellent breakfast. I would recommend staying at this motel.

And while it's not a brand new building, and has it's scratches and dents like most places do, it's anything but "worn down". In fact, we've invested in a lot of renovation recently, and the hotel is very nice, and in excellent condition.

The pillows were old and like lumps of rocks pushed into a pillow case. The toilet handle took two hands to push it down to flush. The privacy drapes were falling off the windows on both sides and there was no way to put them back up. Would not use the shower...just did not look inviting at all. Breakfast was a disaster. No decaf coffee. Hot water was COLD, oatmeal was COLD, biscuits and gravy CONGEALED AND COLD...and this was at 6:30 when breakfast began, not after it sat for a long time. Would never stay again.

For better results when you travel in the future, we recommend asking the hotel staff for help when you have problems. Had you asked, we would have sent maintenance to make any needed repairs in your room. Or housekeeping to deliver pillows more to your liking. Likewise, had you asked we would have shown you how to use the microwave to cook the instant heat & eat oatmeal packets, for example. Or how to stir the gravy, and so on.

We're sorry you found some hairs on your room's bath floor. We try hard to clean up every single little hair and speck of dirt. Granted the hotel is not brand new, but we keep it in good repair, clean and cozy, and have recently updated the decor and much of the mechanicals. Which is why we hear so often from guests how comfortable, relaxing, and pleasant the hotel is. But if brand new construction is important to you, Madison offers several out of the way, much more expensive options for you.

What a welcoming environment from the beginning all the way to check-out. Bob was on the shift when we walked in, he was very personable. Had a lot of jokes and was able to respond and answer to any and all of our questions. William was the manager on the shift in the morning and assisted us with our check out, he was very friendly and outgoing. He got us out of the door quickly and efficiently but also talked to us casually while doing so. Very great hotel! We will be staying here again in the near future!
