The room was nice, clean and at a great location for a stay prior to an early flight out of Auckland or late flight into Auckland. Was perfect and would stay again when travelling. The staff member at reception was super friendly and very helpful.

"The only thing grand about this hotel is its name. This property falls well short of what I would expect from a 5-star hotel and struggles to meet even a 4-star standard. The room amenities were extremely basic. We were provided with only one shower cap and one vanity kit, with no additional toiletries. ..."
