"The property was beautiful and we did enjoy the heating during a bitterly cold winter. That said, I do think the amenity details should include the information that the toilet and bathroom facilities are outside, several metres away from the main cottage, and open to all the elements. We were lucky that it didn't rain on either of the days/nights that we were there. If it had, we would not have left a glowing review at all. "Beautiful property that merges the historic features with modern conveniences. The two of us went to enjoy a quiet comfortable weekend in the countryside and Le Var delivered in spades. Whilst championing the heritage of the buildings and communities, the accommodation had a modern en-suite bathroom, and all the features that we needed in a beautiful setting. The owners/hosts were engaging and very helpful when we encountered a minor hiccup (access code) and we loved our stay. We will definitely be back."
