We were booked at their hotel ‘across the street’, a run down cheap motel (@ $300 per night!) they own. The room smelled musty, the shower did not work. The cleaning was cursory, at best. Oh… and you have to specifically ask for toiletries (shampoo, shower gel etc). The location is across the street from the beach, which is a plus. The kitchenette is nice and handy if choose to prep your own meals. If you have no expectations for quality lodgings at inflated prices, want to cook in meals, and/or a good location near the beach this place may be for you. I have no intentions of ever returning.

This was a very nice apartment for rent.”The Landing” is a company who rents apartments from a complex and furnishes the apartments to rent out for one night or for a month or more. Everything was spot on! Some places you rent for short term, they ask you to wash your bedding etc before leaving. None of that! It’s a very quiet community, dog park, pool. However, you cannot get help from the apartment complex with your codes etc. It’s a sublet apartment. Codes and wifi you must contact “The Landing” and not Expedia or the “Arcadia apartment office” When you check in to the Landing online, they will take you through everything. Thankfully I did screenshot each page I checked because I was never able to access their app that they ask you to download and use. You need to save the key code for the front door that you are given. Save it because everytime you need to go in the building, you must use. Then you will have a code for your apartment door. The door has a “smart door lock”. We had never seen one of these. We were totally stumped at first. They don’t explain it. It’s an all black door knob and all you need to do is touch the knob and it will light up with white numbers like a clock and you punch in the code to the apartment. You do need to turn the deadbolt away from the door jam to unlock. When you leave, make sure you deadbolt the door.

First time staying here. Room was clean. Pool area was clean. Beautiful view of the beach. Convenient location. They give you a voucher for free parking. Friendly staff. Very pleased with my stay and would definitely come back.

For over $400 per night, this property was what I consider a dump! The bathroom had mold in the shower. The towels are so thin, you could not hardly dry off with them. The entire property is very old and dated. There were supposed to be vertical blinds over the window in the bedroom, but were broken and had gaps in them. Did nothing for privacy or keep the light out. The kitchenette was supposed to have utensils, dishes and so forth. There was one glass and very few utensils. It did have plates. Lamps had broken shades, missing parts and some lighting did not work at all! The facility has free wifi, if you can get it to connect! Reception was horrible! The grounds of the facility are extremely poorly maintained. Filthy walkways, dirty elevators and the pool was so cloudy, you could not even see one's feet. The jacuzzi was slim green, to the point the health department should be taking a serious look at this place. You definitely should not walk around the property barefoot, even though it's at the beach. Needless to say, we did not bother trying out the cafe and grill! The only good thing I can say about the place is the A/C worked well. I would never consider this property again! I felt totally ripped off! And I have photos to prove it!
