"Always a pleasure staying at the Cottages when I'm in the area for the weekend. I've stayed at three different ones: Dogwood this time, Cypress and Magnolia previous times. The properties are very clean. Location is conveniently located by the Food Lion to buy stuff to cook so you're not going out to eat all the time. Very reasonably priced for what you get."

"It was very run down. They charged me a $50 cleaning fee for my service dog. No where on their website does it say about bringing paperwork showing he is a service dog which is actually not allowed. All the bedding was stained and didn't look clean. I actually went and bought sheets to put on the bed to sleep on because I wasn't sleeping on theirs. They need a major remodel! Oh and as soon as I walked in my room it REEKED of marijuana! I understand for the price I shouldn't ask for much but there are only two options for this town and I was just staying one night. The man in the office was ok. He wasn't rude or anything but not very friendly either. If I was in a major pinch I guess I would stay there again but I would be either be bringing a sleeping bag or bedding again."

"The manager double booked our room with a couple that had came in right before us, and when she gave us the new key. Wrote the wrong room number down so we had to figure it out on our own. The complementary breakfast wasn’t available nor even brought up but we were charged for it"

"Cutest little cottage! Everything you would need. Was happy for the regular sized fridge. Very easy access, would be perfect for wheelchairs. Loved it! "

"This cute cabin was such a relaxing getaway. Very clean & spacious inside feeling like a cabin in the mountains, but it was only a short trip from our home. Very peaceful only hearing nature and being in a very private setting. Will definitely rebook for future dates. Thanks Kim for everything!! "
