We spent two nights at Maison Sainte- Therese and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. the unit was very comfortable and ideally located in the heart of Old Montreal just steps away from the main tourist area. While the area is very busy in the evenings we found our 2nd floor unit to be quite quiet. Parking is not available in the building but there are a few options available in the vicinity. We chose an underground spot about a 5 minute walk from the unit for $20/day which was quite a bit cheaper than a few of the other spots. Overall, a pleasant visit and we would not hesitate to return.

We booked largely because the listing advertised on-site parking. There is none. The only options are paid public lots off site, which we learned only after booking, and the property offered no solution. There is no front desk or staff on site; it is a regular apartment building, not a hotel. During our four-night stay there was no trash collection and nowhere to dispose of garbage, so it stayed in the unit. Only two rolls of toilet paper were provided for four guests. Both bedrooms looked nothing like the listing photos. The windows in our "City View" unit could not be opened and were heavily smeared, and the unit was stuffy with no ventilation. A floorboard was missing outside the bathroom. One bathroom had no shelf at all, so shampoo, towels and everything else had to sit on the floor. Floors were dusty and the elevator carpet was stained and dusty. The hallway ceiling had an open section with exposed wiring for our entire stay. The PIN locks were unreliable and the main entrance doors were often left unlocked. When we raised these issues, the property dismissed them. The Old Montreal location is excellent, but it does not make up for the condition of the property or the misleading listing. We would not stay here again.
